looks like any war preparedness % you gain in multiplayer goes down over time, if this is the case, i don’t suggest getting the % up to 100% and then starting campaign, you’ll probably lose it by the time you get to the end.
So does that mean the best way to do it is to play a bit of Multiplayer on the side WHILE you’re going through the campaign?

i think if you do every mission in single player you’ll have enough % to get the best ending in the game, but just to be safe, i’ll do some multiplayer (10 or so missions) when i think i’m 2/3 of the way through…

Well, I was planning on doing one at a time or something when I had just some time to spare but not enough to get really into the campaign. And bah, my Amazon.ca order has been in “Arrival Scan” at the city 45 minutes from where I live/have my Post Office since 1:45 AM uh…today/last night/whatever. I swear, if I have to wait until tomorrow when it’s less than 50k away to play it, I’ll go insane.
Anyone not playing a vanguard is missing out. Being able to stand in front of a cerberus mech and brawling with it or clearing out entire groups of enemies with nova is fun as shit.
i’m my third disc change, if all my saves weren’t on xbox i would have gotten the ps3 version.
i agree with the vanguard comment, i used infiltrator in me and me2, but fell in love with the class in me3 multiplayer, i’d say it’s a little broken…

Isn’t the distance/use conditions for Biotic Charge kind of strict though? I remember trying it in the single player demo and only being able to have Shepard use Charge once.
once you get it fully upgrade and get use to the wonky aiming on it, it’s great. it was great when i was chasing someone, just kept slamming into them from behind…lol…

Im almost done with my Mass Effect 2 playthrough for my carry over save file into Mass Effect 3.
Question for those who looked into spoilers, or have passed ME3 already or knows someone who has, when is the best time to get the DLC “From Ashes”?
Should I wait until I beat the game then get it? Is it something that is clearly meant to be played after the game is done? Or does the dlc add more to the entire experience? (I got the CE so i get extra costumes and some other stuff I think, extra squad member too?)
I haven’t looked up jack shit on Mass Effect 3, besides knowing the DLc adds a new mission and character so please for the love of christ no spoilers.
I encountered my first glitch. During one of the missions, one of my squadmates got stuck in a wall, making her useless for the entire mission. I thought it was kinda amusing. Thankfully the mission was easy.
Just came to say that I’m 11 hours in. Enjoying it for the most part but there are glitches and bugs all over the place lol. I had to reload the game mid battle because a baddie got stuck somewhere in the environment, I had some sound glitches where characters started speaking in static, and at one point while talking to Liara on the ship Shepard’s head was turned all the way to the left for most of the conversation and when he would do a quick look around he snapped all the way right and his eyes weren’t quite leading properly. Hilarious? NOT.
Not to mention the bug with face importing (I took a picture of my ME2 face and did my best to reconstruct it in ME3. Took me 45 mins lol rukidding?)
I blame EA for trying to make a ton of money this quarter. If we honestly look at why there are so many problems it’s because they pushed hard on all these titles to come out NOW to dominate this first quarter and rake in cash. I could have waited an extra month if it meant more ironing out. ME3 proper isn’t the only one. Even the new Mass Effect game on iOS that ties into ME3 was rushed and a lot of people are dogging it for not being as good as the Dead Space iOS game was (which was made by the same team). Not to mention the action figure line that was mishandled and now will release with DLC on each figure is kind of ridiculous with the game already out. If EA would have gotten this right ME3 would have been a magical launch but the ball was being dropped all over the place.
Beat the game today after ~31+ hours… (I haven’t been sleeping much lately…)

Even with FUCKING EVERYTHING BEING SO GOD DAMNED OBVIOUS, the endings felt like a big reaper sized “fuck you”. Why would you go for those 3 shitty ass cliche choices? I honestly expected better. Totally disappointed in the ending possibilities…
I fucking loved the rest of the game however and loved having no cooldown on nova. That was fun while it lasted. Also, fuck this new planet scanning thing, it’s probably as bad as scanning for minerals but in a completely different way… Okay, maybe not as bad but it was a neat concept nonetheless, just poorly implemented IMO.[/details]
