I approve of this post, I do not approve of that avatar.
Art Vandelay is a level 99 latex salesman, he shoots atlas’s and phantoms at bullets.
Noob question: Do you ALWAYS have to aim? Or can you just shoot? ala Halo.
I’ve always aimed, shooting from the hip in all ME’s just seemed unnatural to me.
You can hip fire but aiming is more accurate. Also if you are behind cover you are more accurate then if you are not.
I have still yet to beat ME and ME2 on Insanity, just been too lazy to do it.
I haven’t done it cause aside from trophies/points there is no reason to.
It doesn’t make me a better player because I can beat it on a harder difficulty.
I would have if I wasn’t such a perfectionist when it comes to doing every quest.
Yeah, I’m getting the same impression actually. From playing the 2nd part of the single-player demo, I feel like it’s pretty much a complete lift from ME2, with a few level up quirks for your powers. Not that it’s a bad thing, considering how good the combat was for ME2, but it feels like there wasn’t as drastic an improvement as there was from ME1 to ME2. It’s just the same, pretty much.
I’m debating if I should even buy it at all, since it’ll eventually drop in price anyways. Hopefully it’ll leave the Origin distribution and come out on Steam someday?
^Ok bro the combat is way faster.
FUCK this shit sixmachine you and I are going to rape silver tomorrow! Seriously though sent+infil on silver is pretty fuckin hard especially since I don’t have throw yet.
i would like to remind everyone Final Rush owes me 5 dollars on that last gold match we won, full extraction.
I can’t tell who’s in your av weeks Don Draper or Zack Morris?
Don’t worry tomorrow i’ll whip out CVS2 bison and we can do that.
SPEAKING OF THAT. VANGUARD == GOD TIER. I just found out you can literally roll cancel nova. Well it’s technically reverse roll canceling since you cancel the nova into a roll rather than roll than into a special. But anyways, the concept is that you press nova then roll. The reason why this makes it so godlike is that NOVA HAS I-FRAMES. Thats why you can nova toward a freaking toward a turret and not get hurt or why half blast is so fucking godlike. I literally tested it but rolling around a centurion and roll canceling nova and he didn’t even hit me. I also tested it against a turret and I killed it easily but took some hits in between the end of a roll and the nova but I still killed it without even losing health.
ONE HUGE THING. JUST LIKE ROLLS IN CVS2 AND KOF YOU CAN BE GRABBED OUT OF IT. AN ATLAS GRABBED ME DURING IT. BUT STILL YOU CAN SLAM DUNK PHANTOMS ALL YOU WANT.
edit: Even more fucking hilarious. I started a silver match and went into a room full of guys. I noticed since you only can get hurts at like .5 seconds at the end of the roll like dem fighting games, I kept doing it, and eventually they missed me enough that I was recovering barrier! I honestly don’t even know if we should send a report to Bioware, it’s just too fun. Works on gold too, I even dodged a grenade explosion this way, but i did get caught and downed instantly by the 4th grenade. It’s just that you have to just not get caught in the roll recovery, which is the time right after you stop tumbling but before you start another SLAM DUNK.
heres a vid where I spammed it

don draper of course. as thurst would say, ‘that is one fine looking gentleman’
if someone gets the chance, you should play Mass Effect 1 (you can find it as a cheap platinum hits edition with all the dlcs at most any store)
a comic isn’t the same as playing with Garrus & Wrex, who are Shep’s best buds in the whole galaxy and best party to run with in all missions
also Sovereign’s speech
Yeah…PS3 user saying “hi” again. lol
Playing through ME1 again right now. Some of those Achievements I just can not seem to get lol.
getting all the achievements take a bit of time. need multiple playthroughs for the party member ones.
but if you you’re talking about the “use this ability 70 times” one, there’s a certain computer console on the citadel you just use you powers on and it counts as hitting an enemy, making it easy to grind those out.
