Daigo went to the hyperbolic time chamber for rose exp. lol that means Luffy left a good impression, to make him want to understand the match up.

We can say that:
- luffy beat fuudo 3-1 in freeplay.
- we can see daigo and fuudo training the versus during the next hours
- 2vs2 semi final ( 2 days later), daigo trash luffy 2-0
main event solo ( 1 days more):
- luffy put daigo in the loser bracket( 2-1) in the semi-final of the winner bracket
- luffy loose to fuudo ( 2-0) in the final of the winner bracket
- luffy loose to daigo ( 2-0) in the final of the looser bracket
I don’t know if they played other time than these. But we can be sure that:
- fuudo and daigo are better that luffy ( we mustn’t push it :p)
- they both know the versus ( fuudo wrote the strategic guide for the console character in sf4), but sure, that’s one of the versus they know the least ( like what? everyone on the planet ?)
- luffy put an awesome match, and his rose is beautiful.

Why was Daigo allowed to go to training mode after facing Luffy the first time? That’s like going to a math test, doing the answers you know (your moves), then leaving the room to study for the answers you didn’t know (their moves), then going back to the test and finishing up. Bullshit. He should’ve studied before going all the way to France where console characters were obviously permitted.

Really happy to see this thread, and all this support for me. Great to see that some pple want to play Rose after watching the vid against Daigo.
Btw, after winning against Daigo, i immediatly played against Fuudo, who totally destroyed me (i played him the 1st day i came to Cannes, and won 3 1 in freeplay), he must had learned the matchup, and especially Rose weakness to an hard rush down. Then, Daigo probably watched how Fuudo played against me, and changed his style that’s it. There wasnt 2 hours training or whatever lol…
But yeah, Fuudo and Daigo’s playstyle are totally different. Fuudo is much more offensive than Daigo, Daigo wanna zone and footsies, while Fuudo just rush that shit down. Make it rly harder for me, especially when i’m in corner and the Ryu doesn’t do any mistake.
I’m happy from my performance, and showing that Rose isnt total garbage, and a pad can win over a stick lol.
Props again Luff. You did well my man. Hard training pays off. We’ll keep hittin it hard in Super 
I feel the same…I still play Guile just for kicks so to speak. Luffy did great against the comp and has inspired me to keep on rolling with the ol’ girl. Can’t wait to see more from everyone else!
