luffy, i play on the dualshock 3, but i wanna be able to play with some type of playstation format pad on the 360, can you tell where id be able to get one? or the adapter as well.

I don’t see how converting something wouldn’t add one or two frames of lag, especially on PS3 controllers which run USB.
USB is polling based, at 125 Hz which is one input read every 8 milliseconds.
Your video games run at 60 Hz which is one input read every 16.667 milliseconds.
Basically, your controller sends out a signal to your converter which rounds to the nearest 8 millisecond place in time.
Then the converter processes some, sends it out to your 360, which rounds to the nearest 8 millisecond place in time.
I don’t see how, theoretically, a USB to USB converter could even have consistent input lag.

Now PSX/PS2. Since PSX/PS2 is interrupt based (just fuckin’ goes whenever it feels like it! whoo!!) then the amount of lag you’d get would be much less. You’d only be rounding to the nearest 8 milliseconds, but since your game has larger frames than your controller, I doubt it would make any difference at all.
However, playing a lot of music games (Beatmania, Pop’n Music, DDR) I’ve found that converting my PS2 arcade-style controllers to USB definitely results in one frame of lag, and that’s when you overclock your PC’s USB slots to like… 1000 Hz. Without overclocking your USB you’re even worse, I’d say three frames of lag maybe.
But music games are usually more time sensitive than 2D fighters, so…

I am really fucking stoned right now. I hope this made sense to someone. 
But on the other hand ps3 SSF4 has 2 frames of input lag more than the 360 so he probably doesn’t notice the difference.
A local stick modder I know (goes by Gummowned on here) is working on turning a Sixaxis or Dual Shock 3 into a 360 controller by replacing ps3 board with a 360 one. He asked me if I wanted one last week when I last talked to him, because I had been bugging him for months about wanting to use my DS3 on 360. If you don’t want to go the converter route, he could probably do something for you.
I’ve also heard that the 360 board is so “secure” and different from a general board, so the 360 controller becomes the hardest controller to mod.
Gummowned couldn’t even find a solution without burning up the controller ;[
i have my ps2 controllers lying around somewhere, 4 of them in fact. i dont necessarily hafta use the DS3

It could be, but we don’t know if they’re allowed to change characters in-between matches. If so, then it’s quite likely that we’ll see Rose being used. No matter if he is using Rose or not, all of us here at the Rose forums, wish you the best of luck Arturo.
Even if it is character lock, he still might be using Rose. The post just mentions that those are what characters event-hubs expects them to use.
It’s very well possible, but we’ll have to wait and see. He could use Rose to throw his opponents off, especially after what he said about the lack of Rose players in Japan.
Sim is the smarter pick here as its Ryu/Ken/Adon/Fei/Blanka which Sim does better against overall with the exception of Fei.
I dont like Rose vs Shotos in general.
However I’ll be sure to pick Rose in singles etc so yeah.

Seem that things are going smooth in single right now. I’m curious about SBR today I tend to like these events better than Japanese ones simply because we get to have good quality video match by match afterwards.
