so is there any meetup or casuals, tornies? in tokyo?
first of all, an important factor is WHEN did you go to the arcades, any time before evening probably hard to find famous players.
then, theres the ssf4 factor where people spend more time online playin ssf4(i know a few players who do this)…
as for meetup etc… if you bothered to even read the posts above you, on this very page and maybe previous one too, youd know whatsup.

I was wondering the same thing. Making a street fighter video travel log on sf scenes around the world. Got footage from hamburg, Berlin, a big tournament in holland and next week will be filming matches and interviewing London players.
Japan would be a fitting finale to the series. Since the skill level is something everyone everywhere else is striving for.
Well, I spent a month living in China, and I imagine it’s about the same, people stare/take pictures A LOT Nothing to really get bothered by, at some places i visited in China, non-tourist places, most of them had never seen a foreigner before, so I guess it’s not that odd that they stare.
Anyway, probably going to move to Japan and study when I get the cash for it, so I better start practicing, so I don’t make a fool out of myself at the arcades
Btw, is it a lot more expensive to live/study in Tokyo than it is in any other fairly big city? Read somewhere that it isn’t as expensive as some claim, if you aren’t going to buy land/estates etc, so a normal apartment is fairly regular priced?
