Yeah it did, or somebody has mad quick hands. Either way, I only got yanked for 4000 yen and I do have any credit cards. I just gotta get new SF4 player cards.
GG to everyone who came out to TPC tonight. It was weird having no girls there tonight. Sarah counts as a girl of course, but she just came in with the casual “Hi boys. I hope you are not getting drunk again and killing hookers” mom assist.
I might have a party at my place so you guys can meet the monkeys later on this month or the middle of next month. But I’ll keep you guys posted!
One guy definitely got his shit nicked, I found out. Lost like 5,000 yen. Everyone else was just probably drunk and dropped that shit.
But I wouldn’t rule out the pickpocket theory. I mean, Roppongi’s kinda shady like that.
To all that attended TPC! FB Caution Level: Orange!!

Please do not post any pictures of me from TPC last night on Facebook. Sorry to drag y’all into this. I woke up this morning to some whackness.
THANX in ADVANCE **
Any Kansai players up for gaming on the weekend of the 21st? It’s a three day weekend. We can play games other than SF4 too if everyone wants.
I’m down. Might have to work Saturday though.
To anyone who has reserved a game at a convenience store before:
How early do they usually arrive? Like as soon as the clock strikes midnight, can I expect them to start selling the game? I’m too hyped about FFXIII. I reserved it at Yodobashi Camera, but it takes about 35 minutes to get there from where I live. Since the game is coming out on a workday and there’s a Family Mart right across the street from my apartment, I thought it’d be a lot more convenient to just get it from Family Mart. Even if I won’t be able to get points for my Gold card…oh well, at least I’d get T-Points.
How the hell do you reserve a game at a conbini anyhow? I’m such a newb, haha =/ Do you just ask them at the counter?
Sounds good. Set something up.
Protip: Don’t buy FFXIII.
Sorry, not possible.
<—rabid FF fanboy =/
reno - I’ll see if I have anything else going on. <3
I’ll be posting Tekken6 and SC4 casual matches
Yeah post the matches!
hi guys, quick question. What does “don mai” mean?
I’ve been playing a lot of monster hunter online and I’ve noticed that japanese players use this phrase often. The last context I remember it being used was:
Player 1: Disconnected
Player 1: "my psp ran out of power, sorry"
Player 2: “Don mai”
Wouldn’t it mean like “don’t mind” or its ok, or something along those lines?
My japanese is limited so i could be wrong… but that was my impression when seeing this.
Yeah, it’s how they say “don’t mind”, which is another way of saying “don’t (pay it any) mind” or “don’t worry about it”.
For the weekend of the 21st, are there any other games people wanna play? As far as versus games go I only got Naruto: Ultimate Storm for PS3 (which rocks but is kinda broken lol), SF Alpha Anthology for PS2, VF4 Evo, VF5 360, Smackdown vs. Raw 2009 360 (this may actually be fun with 4 players heh), Blazblue and um, that’s about it. I’m down with just SF4 too of course, just wanted to know if anyone else wanted to play other games too.
We’ll shoot for the 22nd (Sunday), since the 23rd is a national holiday. Turkey time baby!
Tenatively, I’m out…
I’m cool with just SFIV. I’ve never played a Naruto game though, always wanted to give one a try.
(HeartNana at a friend’s place)
Keep in mind that the Naruto games that you prolly heard about that are good are the ones for the gamecube most likely. There’s ones for the PS2 also, the one that usually gets the most play is the one for the gamecube, and soon to be the ones for the wii.
