First of all, thanks to EVERYONE who came to the GvG tourney on Saturday. It was soooo hype that I can’t wait for the next one (I am personally preparing something a little special for you Deathscythe users…) Youtube is currently barfing on a couple of the videos, so I’m going to reupload some of them and hopefully they will take. For now, we have a few of the matches online. We are http://www.youtube.com/gamecenterarcade However, in a completely boneheaded move, I forgot to keep track of who the matches were. So if people recognize their own play or matches, please drop me a line somehow identifying yourself/your team and possibly the other team as well.

Given the success of this last tournament, it’s time to start our bi-weekly tourneys for Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition and Marvel vs Capcom 3! Our first in this series will be this coming Saturday the 16th, starting at 4. I don’t know how many people there will be, so I’m starting a bit early to make sure we have time. Venue fee will be a $7 wristband (also good for all day play on all the console cab setups) and $5 to the tournament pot. Format will be standard best 2 out of 3 double elim. Both semi finals and finals (both for losers and winners) as well as the grand finals will be 3 out of 5. These will give you a last tournament to sharpen your claws before Evo.

Starting this coming Monday, we will be OPEN on Mondays! The reason? Off The Grid (http://www.facebook.com/OffTheGridSF) is coming to the San Mateo Caltrain parking lot! For those of you unfamiliar with it, a bunch of the tastiest food trucks in SF gather in one place for a delicious, diverse dinner service. We just happen to be lucky enough to be next door. So if you want some awesome food with a side of videogames, Monday nights in San Mateo are where you should be.

Went there today for the first time with Ginseng (Winson), his gf, and Sleazoid. I was the guy who kept getting problems with Rage of the Dragons shutting down on me because it can’t handle my Alice infinites.
GGs to the guys I played in MvC3 and SSF4AE, I was the one who played Wesker/Sentinel/Skrull in MvC3 and Rose in AE. You guys are from SJ? Maybe we can session sometime.

Marvel and AE tournaments tonight (Sat, July 30th) @ 6 PM - 12 AM
Entering the tournament gets you a wristband for gaming on the console cabs the entire day, so come by and get some games in if you’re not at Evo.
There’s a few ideas for new events getting thrown around at Game Center. Look forward to those in the near future.
I forgot to mention this earlier, but GGs pavo. I know you said you don’t play marvel really but neither do I. The matches were fun and fuck Haggar.
I played the Mag/storm/sent team that day. Do you happen to know the name of the Abel-main who also plays AH3?
