I’ve live in san mateo most of my life…moved away now there’s a arcade right in the downtown area! Smh!..I will be making a visit hopefully soon…good job thx totoroslayer!
I say we get a group together to head over to Game Center on Wednesday so we can get some 2v2 GUNDAM going, and I’m down to practice for NCR on the console cabinets too.
i’ll definitely have to come down and play sometime soon!

Went there yesterday, really like the place. Very open space with a great setup. GGs to everyone who played Marvel and AE.

We’re normally closed today, but I figured I’d open an extra day for people who wanted to get some NCR practice in. We’re up and running right now, for anyone who wants to come by and get some games in.

[] Seemed like a really cool place. Seems like a cool venue to hold local tournaments or maybe a ranbat season, Thursday nights or something.
[]It was 7 bucks to play on the console cabs for the whole day which was a good deal considering the arcade cab was 1 buck to play and most people were playing the cpu that i saw sit down there.
[]The owner seemed like a really cool guy. All the sticks were working fine, at least for SF4 and MvC3, I didn’t play anything else.

[]Keep track of what games get the most usage on the Console cabs. If Arcana and Tekken, Blaz isnt getting a lot of run and there are 10-15 SF4 players there that night, it could be cool to get an extra SF4 cab running.
[]Similar to what Starbase has, a dedicated day to a tournament. Granted Starbase stays open late but maybe Gamecenter can accommodate a later close one night of the week? Every Thursday - Tournament in X game from 8:30pm-Whenever done AM. Can be streamed to get more publicity to the scene and your arcade. Whatever game was being played, you can have 4 of them running on the arcade cabs. Charge like $7 to enter Tourney and the Arcade keeps $2 bucks with $5 going to the tourney pot. Maybe keep a season record, Ranbat style, with leader boards for X amount of weeks. Similar to Weds night fights.

I’d like to drop by again this weekend, but I’m too busy. I’ve been itching to get some more bbcs2/ah3/mvc3 (and maybe some garou) comp. Me and Gensou will be around next Friday/Saturday, though. I’m hoping to get some 925 guys to come with, too.

Good showing yesterday, lots of fun on AE and GvG. Looks like I got new characters in both games.
Looks like Street Fighter 3: Third Strike is up and running on the cabinets as is Dungeons and Dragons. Also, looks like there’s some hype behind GvG 2v2 Ranbats? I’m down.
