I think they post what is compatible with all controlers and what not. I would post exactly which ones here but I am at school and lunch is ending so I can only give you a link. I will post the converter names later once I find them out. Thanx.
First off, Stump Magnus was just replying to your post. You needed a converter and he was just saying that MAS Systems has one but those guys just sell them too expensive. Ok well Stump you needed some converters so I looked around and found some. Here they are:
Description: Called the Magic Box for X-Box. It allows you to not only connect your PS2 controller to your X-Box but also your DC or Saturn controllers too.
what kind of pad is it?
psx,ps2,dreamcast,USB PC?
what exactly is “3 ground” ?
psx,ps2,dreamcast pads share common ground so you solder to just any ground BUT if its pc USB gamepad then maybe I might be able to answer
oh dang… all the old posts got deleted…

i was just wondering what converters work for psx to xbox with voice.
I have a joybox but it doesnt work with voice. and i got the dreambox from liksang. it does work with voice but only with a real sony brand pad. i made my custom stick out of a psx 1000 pad. does anyone know what converter i can use for this and one that has voice.
Hey man sorry I couldn’t help you when i was online. My mom was really bugging me and I had to get off. What I suggest you do is take off the disconnects. Don’t use them. Just solder straight to the microswithes themselves. I have noticed that when some people try to do this it doesn’t work so just solder straight to the microswitches. Also never give up, whatever you do don’t give up. It takes hard work and patience the first time around. You can do it, I believe in you. Thanx.
-See Ya!!!
P.S.: Hey RANDoM_MAI, I will try to find you one and post a link to it later. Have you tried the one made by X-Box, kinda pricey ($25) but I think it does the trick.

thats about it
woo hey,did you blow out the dreamcast ports:confused:?
you have a cd burner?
you can download/burn this dreamcast input testing program to test your input.
less chances of blowing out the controls port with this software.very usefull.
heres my remodelled stick. And you were right rotendo, chiselling mdf is easy as hell~!i got it done in 30 min. But you kno whats a good alternative? The blade of a planer, its usually about 1.5 inches wide so it’ll speed up the process.
i started soldering again, yes again the first time i fucked up and had to buy a new pcb, and im almost plauged with my last problem. my points are getting soldered properly. they tend to fall off with ease, i can push them slightly and they break off. ive read multiple soldering faqs and ive done what they all say, “tin the wire and joint…blah blah blah” its not that easy. im starting to doubt the effiency of my 15 watt soldering iron. ive even tried scratching the surface of the point a lil more like suggested by a few ppl, still same results.
can anyone give me some tips on how u soldered ur board or some kind of help, cuz i really need it.
