NICE SHIT DAWG! and i like the 1 player 2 player buttons, where’d you buy those? censible? anyways GOOD FUCKIN JOB! i-n-v-u! lol nice carpentry too! i wish my box was as FLUSH like 2001 as yours was… VERY clean… simple yet strong!
Is there a difference between WICO P360s and HAPP P360s?
I thought that they were manufactured by P360, and ALL WICO and HAPP did was distribute them? so my argument to that is: I was in chicago for MW challenge at Nickel City and they had (WICO?)P360s on 3S and the stick/bat was thin like a ultimate/competition, spring was tight, had less of a movement radius then …
the (HAPP?)P360s on this other cab, the stick/bat was fat like a super, a little looser spring, more movement radius:wtf:???
I looked around this site and couldnt find it so this seemed the logical place to go, my first stick (which had some scrubby wiring btw), had a wire come loose and it blew my DC ports. So I was wondering if anyone knew wich resistor I was supposed to replace to fix that? Is it the resistor labeled F1? Thats what another site said, but they said that replacing that with a 10 ohm resistor would make it do funny things when you played anything that had rumble… Any suggestions?
Well if you buy the ENTIRE P360 Kit, the joystick will look like the Ultimate/competition joystick except that the metal shaft has these ridges in them.
Some arcade owners buy the CONVERSION kits (cheaper) which may explain why the joystick still looks like the super or whatever existing joystick they decided to convert.
Next time someone decides to murder an Xbox controller if you could snap a jpeg and circle the soldier points I’m sure it would help us all out…
I will be going through this soon and I’d like to get it right the first time…
Guys I need HELP!!! Jjust now I was playing with my sav which I’ve had for about 3 months, and I heard a ping sound. It sounded like a spring and then next thing I know my 360 pulls right out of the box!!!It’s sitting on the floor in 3 pieces. What can I do to fix it. I know nothing about working on sticks, and I dont want to fuck up my $150 stick!
Sounds like the c-clip at the bottom of the stick shaft popped off, releasing your stick shaft from the Perfect 360 base. If you can’t find that c-clip, you’ll have to go to the hardware store or call Happ to see where you can get a replacement.
Thanks for all the positive responses about my stick for Live!
It’s certainly not the prettiest stick around, but this isnt the prom after all.
In regards to the questions about my wiring schematic, I went ahead and photoshopped a quick key for those who wish to use the original first party xb pad (other pads will have a diff pcb design of course).
I just removed that material and scraped away the coating on each point. When I had it good and clean, I fixed the proper lead (you dont want to move it post solder) and went slowly using plenty of flux. Refer to cdvision’s soldering guide, great tips for anyone learning (me included.)
Not true, as it works just fine. The triggers are analog though, Im sure a digital hack could be worked out by someone.
Hardly greatness, just patience… there are much nicer sticks (as this forum is proof of) I just needed something before CvS Live launched. In regards to the wiring, see the jpg I made below.
If anyone else gets a p360 working on this (or that madcatz) pad, Id love to hear about it! Last I checked those rumble motors did run off a 5v lead, so it should be a simple addition.
Let me know if you guys want any other info, the rest is fairly straight forward, and careful on those damn cheap pcb points! They lift off sooooo easily.
Anyone know about adapting from my xb controller (male) to my ps2?
Ive seen plenty that do the opposite, but I havent seen any that do this. Is it possible to adapt from psx to usb (which exist) and then hack my xb to usb??
speaking of which, the P360s i ordered were super, but i wanted ultimate joysticks instead. is it possible for me to replace the bat and install a hard spring?
can u wire a 360 stick by using the replacing parts of a switched joytick…meaning i have switches in my stick now…and can i change to a 360 without serious changes???or is it the same
