I cut all the wires from that Cthulu because it was dead and left all wires attached to the TE pcb. Figured out where it goes. Got it all wired up using usb on the imp. Cthulhu works fine on pc. Player indicator lights flash once the turbo panel and disappear on xbox 360. Wired usb directly back to TE pcb and the stick works fine. Donāt know why the xbox 360 side wonāt work right with the imp connected. Itās clearly auto detecting and switching over.
Apparently I missed the big red letters at the top of the imp v2 welcome sheet. I didnāt update the mc Cthulu to its latest firmware. That may be my issue. Iāll try later this week.
Hi guys. Can anyone identify this particular Cthulhu PCB? What version/model is it? I believe itās from about 5 years ago or so.
Also does anyone know what consoles it can connect to other than PS3?
Looks like its the later model PS3/PC only Cthulhu. The MC Cthulhu has a few extra resistors and diodes.
The Original model had no on board USB jack, instead had 5 rows of cable selects.

Hi,
I have a recent problem with my Cthulu pcb. It is labeled on the board as ChimpSMD.3.1.
Recently when I plug it into my computer or ps3 it is not recognized until I unplug it and plug it back in. I always have to do this plug unplug plug routine. Is the PCB dying? I am worried it will die at Evo. I have another stick with the same PCB that does not do this.
