I would like to think this. Except none of the other arcs had a little box of text and the word “End”. It’s the sheer abruptness of it that throws me off. Hopefully Legendary Hoahmaru is correct.
That’s worse than the Anime ending… wtf.
Read the last few posts. Apparently it isn’t “the end”. Also, I just finished watching the Claymore anime yesterday night, because I started watching it months after I started reading the manga. If there ever will be a season 2, then I hope they take a slight different direction than the manga (but not too different).
My eyes are bleeding manly tears of joy…!
passes hankerchief to Shwaffles
pulls one out for self
Maybe they can reboot the anime… a la Full Metal Alchemist…

The anime made me want to read the manga - until I saw just how far behind I’d be. Add to that my need to support things and actually buy them - it could get expensive.
I try to support things, but Manga have been such a grey area…mostly because if I can’t find something, I feel its within the realms of obtaining however I can (for instance getting a Japanese bootleg of SF2X for the DC because it hadn’t dropped in the states, or trying to track down a copy of Cella Dwellas second album). ITs less Claymore - more the Weekly Shonen stuff, but I get access to the issue before its even released, then at best I can ge their download service and get stuff like 2-3 weeks later than Japan (which is beter than waiting for Waldenbooks or whatever).
Its not a real legit excuse, I should go ahead and buy the download service to make sure the at least get my money, and eventually I know I will.
With Claymore the anime simply pissed me off. It was great…at first…but then they took random liberties because for some reason they alwasy feel the need to come to a complete conclusion by the end of their 26 episodes…so instead of choosing a closer ‘stopping point’ to cram more of the manga into the series…they destroy the plot and consistencies and ultimatly change everything to finish by episode 26, not only butchering the series, making an uninteresting ending, but also writing themselves into a corner. I still can’t get over “Oh she hadn’t fully awakened”… :epicfacepalm:

Since I’ve never read the any of the manga, I have no idea how bad the anime butchered it.
Some things I’m fully happy with sticking with the anime (Naruto for instance) - but Claymore… every so often I just get the itch to read it. May just chalk it up eventually and catch up slowly. It’d be a lot easier if they had an app like Marvel - fully got me back into comics.
Just read it from the sites.
Honestly, the manga is worth re-reading…if you have time, go ahead and do it. You’ll never get the ‘caught up’ manga without ‘re-calibrating’ the story.
Priscilla aint ‘dead’. So far in the manga - Raki hasn’t mentioned knowing what Leo/Priscilla were…Raki wasn’t at the battle of the North…yadda yadda yadda.

From what I’ve read, I’m not betting anything on a reboot or even a season 2. I know Claymore did well, but not amazing…
I assure you that you won’t be disappointed. One of my favorite things about these kinds of manga is the improvements in the authors’ art style. It’s incredible seeing Norihiro’s art improve over the course of 10 years, the same can be said for Fujishima (the author of Oh! My Goddess; which is the first manga I’ve ever read). Also I try to get my local library to order more volumes, and to buy some at the closest Barnes & Noble. Digital copies are great and take up no physical space, but absolutely nothing beats turning the pages of a real book.
Glad they didn’t end the manga with that last chapter. I want to see what that freaking scar looks like already.
Thank you sir.
I forgot about Claymore already haha. I’ll read it ater work, thanks for heads up. (+rep)

this manga is such a complete clusterfuck now
I fell behind in claymore a bit also, going to try to catch up today.
New chapter is up. http://www.batoto.net/read/_/111833/claymore_v23_ch128_by_mib
For anyone else that doesn’t understand wtf is going on (I had to read the last three chapters to get it)–
The three-headed abyssal one that just was in the big brawl left, heading towards where Claire and Priscilla merged. The girls are rushing to catch with the abyssal one to stop the “seal” that Claire made on Priscilla from breaking when the two meet.
Still no Teresa.
Too short… too damn short…
Umm… okay… what is so horrifying about a naked Claymore??
I personally think Raki was freaked out because it’s the first time he’s seen a chick nekkid.
