Bah. I just don’t get into manga and anime as much anymore. Used to be a time when I’d watch anything I could get my hands on and read many different ones. Used to be shows and books that dealt with high-level ideas - Nausicaa, Ghost in the Shell, Harlock - now most is bland and mindless. Bleach is… well let’s just say I got sucked into it long ago and am stuck with it till the end.
Claymore deals with power, self, independence, loyalty, definition of human, etc. It’s not pulitzer material but it keep me interested.
Well that would be enough for me to collapse to my knees and dry heave uncontrollably.
