I REALLY tried hard to give him the benefit of the doubt but he does a great job of building my apathy for things. Interestingly, because I’m so apathetic, I just play and nothing phases me. Many who basically complain say they want MW1/CoD4-2. Why not just go back then? That what you did Jae, rather than complain you just went back to the old game. hell you invited me to play and shit was fun.

Now if only randoms knew basic tactics then many issues I have would be gone. Going to post my update if I made one on this game…because I have nothing better to do. :lol:

Cod4 had its fair share of shit(martyrdom, last stand, triple frag, M16 although I admittedly never had a problem with the last 2) and it does get a break for being the first Cod to try to do what it was. The thing is even with the problems it has, none of those overcome the game to the extent that the better person usually wins. That is something the newer Cod games seem to have got away from in their whole level the playing field approach.

I also got a beta key for SMNC if you guys care to know how it plays.

Video inspired me to stick with the AK, M4 and Spas all through out MW3.

But the M4A1 is actually one of the best Assault Rifles

I really just enjoyed CoD4 due to great map design and even kill streaks for everyone. 3x frag isn’t bad if you don’t hang around other people much or the spawn area for to long, and M16 can be dealt with.

heh MW3 could be instantly better if they imported most of the MW1 maps and some of the MW2 maps.

the Infernoman update

EMP nade - blast radius slightly increased to make throws easier to hit confirm against enemy equipment/streaks

XM25 - nerfed to 8 shots from 12

Trophy system - can now block 3 shots over 2

Scrambler - range is increased can disable enemy C4/claymores placed in range of it.

Type 95 - gun is now a 2 burst gun and does 50 - 25 dmg.

M16A4 - damage boosted to now 40-30

LMGs -
all now have changed dmg stats
M60E4 - 50-45 (suppressed ver is 45-35)
MK46 - 35 all ranges (suppressed is 35-30)
PKP Pecheneg - 40 all range (suppressed 35 all range)
MG36 - 45 all ranges (suppressed 40-30)
L85 LSW - 35 all ranges (suppressed unchanged)

Sniper Rifles - cannot be fired as you hold down button to ADS until you’re fully scoped in. once scoped in, sniper rifle has random sway for a brief moment ala Black Ops

Riot Shield - buffed by making shield slightly larger making blocking bullets/melee swings easier.
Ranged Proficieny added to give melee shield bash commando range if choosen over melee or speed.
shield regiven back ability to repel Tact nades ala MW2

Machine pistols - all nerfed via disabling akimbo

Handguns -
when akimbo is added correct extra ammo is given
Red Dot is now an attachment

Melee system - swings gun instead of knife. melee is 2 hit kill like Riot shield

Knife - only available in handguns as an attachment. 1 hit kill is possible ONLY when handgun + knife is out. No lunge.
knife animation has slow startup and won’t beggin stabbing animation til after 2 sec. kill is confirmed on the 3rd second. has after knife is fully in, a 2 sec recovery.

Proficiency -
Stability eliminates Idle sway when used (only reduces Sniper rifles sway)

Perks -
Scavenger Pro - now can resupply tact grenades plus Launchers have extra ammo
Stinger - 3 missiles
M320 - 4 rounds
XM25 - 12 shots
RPG7 - 3 Rockets
SMAW - 2 rockets

Blast Shield Pro - immune to tact nades (works like tac Mask Pro perk from BO)

Recon Pro - Start off with an extra tact nade (minus Smoke)

Dead Silence - renamed to Ninja. Pro ver makes you immune to HBS/Porable Radar

Deathstreaks - deleted permamnetly

Streaks -
IMS - now a 6 pointstreak instead of 5
Reaper - now a 10 pointsrteak instead of 9
Strafe Run - buffed by giving heli’s one flare total. Onced used can be taken down easily
Sentry Gun - can be placed once earned no longer comes in care package
SAM turret - buffed speed of lock-on and missile firing
Advanced UAV - reveals ALL targets (Assassin no longer immune) for balance sweeps update every sec still not in realtime.
Recon Drone - Buffed to reveal not just enemy location in realtime once tagged but also direction they’re facing similar to a painted target via recon.
EMP - buffed to cancel out a called in enemy MOAB

maps to import (based on the way MW3 plays these maps I feel would work well in this game, not just what I like to play on) -
MW1 - Backlot, Crossfire, Pipeline, Chinatown, District, Creek, Bloc, Downpour
MW2 - Favela, Invasion, underpass, Sub base, terminal, rundown, bailout, trailer park
again these are my opinions based on what I feel would improve/balance the game. if you care enough to, l feel free to argue/agree add/ whatever.

Will never happen, if anything they will increase the Commando Lunge and make sniper rifles accurate from hip fire.

yeah that’s painfully obvious but hey it’s what I would do given the chance…course I reported bugs during MW2 and look what happened there? got no credit for the game and I was let go. No good deed goes unpunished.

This game is just…blah…:expressionless: everytime I play is just…like whatever. I really think they took two steps back with this one. I try not to complain when I play but for every C4 death\last stand that kills me I equally want to shoot a newborn baby it’s so rage inducing :frowning:

Don’t get it twisted - I would actually rather play MW3, I just know that I’ll be so out of practice in a game thats still ‘evolving’ that my already ‘average’ to ‘sub-average’ skillset would fall into the complete utter ‘lulz’ territory. I havne’t played an FPS since mid December :sad: - I STILL don’t have a internet connection at the extended stay, so its just been GTAIV (just killed Faustin) and UMvC3 (picked up Dante…Hammertime now! Can’t touch this) training.

I was lucky, my wife didn’t realy have any weird cravings…she got emotional a couple times (but not when I was around)…though she did start losing sleep (which is on purpose to adjust for ‘later’). Congratz to both of you guys :slight_smile:

haven’t played this game in a number of weeks. Not TOO anxious about getting back into, but eventually I will yawn

Like I implied before, COD4 had very little obstacles between you and doing well, assuming you wanted to put in the effort. If you used your gun and positioned yourself wisely, you’d be rewarded a lot. The later installments are screwing over the good player so everyone else can get a piece of the pie. I mean, let’s run the obstacles to playing well (aside from spawn system and guns in general) game by game:

COD4:
-Martyrdom. I shoot you to death and you get a chance to end my streak because I shot you to death. Or I just run into your grenade shitting corpse at the wrong time. Makes no sense.
-Last Stand. Same as Martyrdom, only with bullets.
3x Frag was bad, but my main problem were the 2 above. Still, they weren’t that annoying (unless you were playing objective modes, where martyrdom was almost a given) because they were perks you knew to expect and you only had a 3-5-7 setup. I would prefer if these perks died right here, but then came MW2.

MW2:
-Martyrdom. That it’s a deathstreak isn’t a justification. It shouldn’t have been in the game.
-Last Stand. Still a perk. After COD4. Then they had Final Stand.
-Painkiller. I can’t tell you how many streaks have been ruined because I ran into that damn pill up close. How’d they get the pill? By dying 4 times in a row. How the fuck does that make any sense?
-Commando. Where I can shoot you at close range ton of times and get hit markers, but you can zoom through those bullets and get me in one hit.
-OMA+Danger Close Noob Tubing. This was unintentional, but still ruined the game. Why would one go through the arduous process of slamming triggers when they can floop someone out of their streak and still be an asset to their team?
-Care Packages. If I’m on a high killstreak package, I work hard for those streaks. Yet, at the same time, there’s a chance someone on the enemy team can get a “big plane” streak that ruins that at 4 kills.

MW2 was the game that absolutely shit on you if you were trying to get better in order to command higher killstreaks. For the average joe, it was damn near impossible to channel a complete zen mode and rise above the BS in this game, no matter how much map knowledge and other info you tried to learn for help. They completely undermined what made COD4 great, and future installments would only clean most of the shit up instead of the whole pile. Seriously; the only other game I can think of that matches MW2 in this regard is Vanilla MVC3.

Black Ops:
-Last Stand. Again.
-Care Packages. Again.
Overall, BO was good, and better than MW2 in this regard. Still, no reason for those two obstacles to be there.

MW3:
-Last Stand. Again.
-Last Stand with C4. What? I thought there was no Last Stand.
-Care Packages. Again. Does it seem like people are getting more “valuable” things out of them this time around? I’m hearing many more “big bird” streaks come out of them during matches.
-Assault class being weak as shit. Seriously. I’m sticking to low streaks (5-6-7) because the big, controllable ones (Reaper, AC-130) can barely hit anybody with all these buildings. Plus, all the kills are reset upon death.

I’m liking MW3 more than BO, but those things above shouldn’t be there. I feel the sooner they move away from this “communist” approach of neutering good players in favor of bad ones, they can come up with some real good ideas. Right now it feels like they’re about to just stagnate or go irredeemable at some point.

You only needed THREE deaths for Painkiller

In BO they at least patched shotguns so that if you shoot someone they don’t fall into last stand they just die. I wish someone implemented that sooner. And I doubt it works like that in MW3.
