Played full playthrough of Siren to lv50. That’s two playthroughs of the same story.
I see some option to change the voices to JPN voice actors online, think it’s interesting, especially since I know a good portion of what the voices are in English already.
Is it sad if people turn on JPN voices in a fighting game? I don’t see the difference here.
Saying what I did is really sad is insulting to say the least. I increased the ways that I was experiencing Borderlands 2 (listening to different voice actors) and that’s sad?
So I guess it’s sad to buy DLC?
I don’t understand your logic in the slightest.
I’ve met enough people who actually prefer the JPN voices, and I wanted a change of SOMETHING the third time I played through the game, that’s sad I guess huh.
I find the JPN voices amusing at times. For example, Clap trap is blatantly annoying, and in Japanese he is blatantly annoying with ridiculous Engrish.
Cause if not you is an old funny mothafucka. Stop trying to justify being a guy that jacks his dick to girls screaming ONEECHAN in their high pitched rape victm voices.
I’m trying too hard, shut that shit up nigga. I am a die hard subs over dubs nigga and I still find this shit to be hilariously pointless. But whatever, keep defending your little Ott booty buddy nigga.
Much as I normally don’t like being on palm’s side of things, you kinda brought the flaming/trolling upon yourself, Phantasy. If you actually look at your last posts, you were just talking to yourself about Japanese voices (Didn’t even know this game made it over there) like this is twitter or some shit. No one responded to you. No one cared. I was actually about to ask you wtf you were talking about, when, I guess just Angelpalm.
I like anime and the Japanese language as a whole, as much as the next guy. But you won’t find me trying to draw attention to myself because of it. Just turn down the weeaboo shit like 3 notches.
Will probably edit when it isn’t 5 in the morning.
I think you can spawn him on your own. It’s just that his spawn rate is much, much higher in a group of 4. I’ve also been told he only spawns in TVHM.
That being said, I’ve only fought him in a group in TVHM. Spawning him was a pain, and the loot was mediocre. I swear the rare drop rate is so low, it promotes duping. The only thing I have ever gotten off of Verm was a Mechromancer head. My friend duped a legendary siren mod for me.
So anyway, I think they fixed the Mechromancers anarchy stacks from randomly disappearing. I was using all kinds of fuckin guns yesterday and was so happy to notice that my anarchy stayed on track. Though before the patch, I noticed that they only didn’t really disappear when using pistols.
I think it’s fantastic… it really makes you think about how you play. But IMO you’re better off getting into the BFF tree and then re-specing to Anarchy around level 15-20. Get Anarchy, Discord, and the shield regen kill skill and you’ll be kicking some ass.
A good Coach Gun is perfect for Anarchy. You reload every one or two shots, and you do tons of neutral damage with each of them. Find one with good reload and you’re good to go. They work fine for other builds, too, since you get other trees’ reload bonuses (Shock and Augh means a shock nova every few seconds, Cooking Up Trouble gets you a fairly consistent constant heal, possibly boosted by a Prodigy mod). Lots of pellets also works great with Close Enough if you’re Ordered Chaos. And personally, I like the way they feel far better than the other Jakobs shotguns.
Deathtrap starts falling off in effectiveness in TVHM. You have to babysit him a lot more since enemies do so much damage. He’s still very helpful, though. Interspersed Outburst is also a great talent, since the slag effect applies before damage is calculated, giving you a free boosted headshot if you’re sniping. It also doesn’t override any elements on your weapons, so you can keep firing away. I imagine a good Technophile mod with a big IO boost would be great for long-range players. It’s fine in close combat too while you’re taking cover.
Playing through DLC1 and it reminds me a lot of BL1. I’ll get around to Haggar Hogan once more friends get it.
Ok done. Kinda short DLC, lot more fun than Scarlett though, and I suspect they shifted the bulk of it to the side missions. Shame the new vending machines are Torgue centric, I don’t touch em =(
