Anarchy also goes pretty good with interspersed outburst as well. Level 5 of that skill and 5 stacks of it, along with 40 or so stacks of anarchy 2 shots almost anything at your level with a decent weapon.
Also a shame that they don’t dispense legendaries higher than lvl 48 apparently.
Wow.
Is this guy for real?
How much of this game did he even play?
Yes quest tracking sucks but that’s the only valid criticism he leveled here. You do not HAVE to open everything just like you don’t HAVE to destroy every pot in Diablo.
You’re only checking EVERY piece of equipment for the first what, ten levels? Then green and blues come into the equation and it becomes very apparent which pieces of equipment you should and should not be paying attention to.
This just sounded like he wanted to hate the game for some reason.
Yahtzee/ZP is a funny guy but if you didn’t make a mind numbing strategy sim with a global audience of 7 people, don’t expect him to like it =Q
That’s pretty much Yahtzee’s shtick. Don’t take anything he says seriously.
If you’re paying attention, you can tell he does play the games, he’s just far more willing to point out most games’ bullshit than give them reviews glossing over stuff that is stupid. He doesn’t give a shit about hype. Check out his gallery and see how he responded to hatemail for his Smash Bros. Melee review:rofl:
It’s not about hype or not hype. He’s entirely misrepresenting the game.
There is a reason why I am still playing this game and I am a man of discerning taste.
I didn’t think so…but 2012’s game releases have made me into complete cynic anymore.
Well it seems like my dlc quest didn’t scale to level 50 for my siren so that might give me some enjoyment out of the game for a whole minute.
Finally got around to finishing Scarlett DLC. Fun up until the very last quest, which felt very, very rushed. The game even makes the race to the trashed sound like its going to be some epic battle with Scarlett and her crew, but nope, just ride your skiff 100 feet to the left and you get eaten. Levi fight is still as boring as ever, and I realized there’s not even any music, which makes the fight drag on. I got the “Leviathan just sits there and does nothing” bug again too, the only solution to which is to kill more sandworm adds. Best gear I got from the whole thing was a purple grenade mod in the vending machine at the exit, though that’s just the game’s drop system being itself.
Nothing that hadn’t been said before, but I felt like typing a bit about it. What I think should have happened, if resources allowed it, would be to add another area where the treasure is supposed to be while fighting Scarlett’s crew on the way on skiff and on foot (an extra half hour or so), THEN getting swallowed by the Leviathan. Maybe the Levi fight is more fun with a full group. I haven’t tried it yet. Or maybe it’s just commiserating and pushing through the slog, now that the Bee’s been nerfed.
I don’t think it’s a bug, as far as I understand it’s a phase of the fight.

More Gold Keys this weekend. Starting tonight.
Really? Janky boss design, then. He just sits there and looks around, spazzing out every now and then, while politely waiting for you to finish off his worm buddies. Not even a poor man’s Craw. I can’t imagine farming this guy for the chests at the end; the fight just has so much dead air.
Might try it with a friend tonight to see if it’s any better.
Can’t wait til the semester is over to probably get back in the game… Oh, and get a new SSHDD since the one died, so, no rig for me. Still got the Scarlett DLC to finish and whatever the newest one is. Kinda makes me want to get it on 360 now. Ugh.
That’s his schtick. Hating stuff for the sake of hating it.
That is his thing, he made a positive review or 2 at one time and his fans hated him for it. He also does not like multiplayer.
Man, even with a level 50 Zero slaughtering low-level chumps in Normal mode with “Many Must Fall” skill, it’s going to take a LONG time to get the Nihilism character head. I’m only at 300-something kills now. It’s odd that I still care about the skins and heads, even though the game is 99% first-person perspective. It is unfortunate that only a few of them look cool though… most of Zero’s heads look goofy to me.
*oh, probably too late by now but they’ve posted 2 or 3 shift codes today… I finally got in on it and got 2 gold keys today.
edit-- sometimes it’s fun to be ridiculously overpowered for the situation… speaking of that level 50 Zero; I went to the area with Wilhelm… poor Willy there got cut down in ONE shot with the execute attack from Deception…one hit. heh, nice.
Cheesing out Levi from the Craw ledge doesn’t work, since the “bug” really does seem to be a poorly-conveyed phase of the fight. Maybe destroying the mouth orb before finishing off all the others works better, seeing how people only seem to be getting the “bug” by saving the mouth for last. Got a CC for my troubles, so that’s okay.
Gearbox has posted 4 or 5 shift codes tonight in celebration of whatever VGA wins they got; check their facebook or twitter page of course…the codes are active all weekend, apparently.
eh, here’s one of them for those that might be too lazy to look it up at the moment:
I have Axton at level 45 now… I haven’t played that character in quite awhile. I took Mechromancer to Oasis at level 34, on True Vault Hunter mode…sheeeit, her and Deathtrap were just barely making it…which is fun. Sometimes it’s fun to be overpowered, but there are other times when I enjoy the thrill of just barely being able to survive.
Show me a bucket
And I’ll show you a bucket
Keysplosion, as noted above. Have music because Jesper Kyd makes good video game music

Even a Lv.44 CC makes quick work of Warrior. It’s no Bee, but it downs him in about 3-4 minutes. Found a Gunerang on him today, of all things.
