really. quicken is too far down the motion tree, the one that lengthens phaselock is pretty underwhelming, subsequence is too far down and trash, etc etc.
she does have some good skills but they’re just hard to grab or not enough to make her a powerhouse

I may start alting Salvador to try and recapture some of the old Brick. It won’t be the same, but mowing down enemies with double semi-miniguns sounds like a good time. Don’t have much interest in playing soldier man or haiku ninja.

Also, I see a lot of people talking about farming a certain shottie to use with The Bee, but let me tell you … this puppy and the Bee, along with all my buffs, lets me do about 4.7mil DPS.

If I’m not mistaken, you can still blow up Skag heads with a mouth shot. But nobody cares about Skags.
GGs to King. That last round on the Hyperion Circle of Slaughter was intense. I actually ran out of sniper rounds right when you died, putting a dent in my “shoot them and then hide behind the railing” plans.
On a related note, I’m surprised it wasn’t too laggy, considering that I’m on the other side of the Pacific.

You can still gib people, it just requires a really high power gun or a Launcher/Explosive. But yeah no more decapitations from Rifle headshots or no more blowing off arms or legs, just either a full gib or nothing.
Reminds me of the Bloody Mess perk in Fallout 3. Punch someone in the toe and their entire body exploded.

I think you can still pop heads. I did it on a couple Hyperion personnel the other day, or so I thought. Also blew a Bruiser’s arm off with a shotgun. But I had a feeling the gore was toned down in this game.
I was thinking about manipulating Locked enemies as a talent that replaces Thoughtlock since, you know, it’s in the Motion tree. Not sure how that’d work out control-wise.

You do get caught in close-quarter situations as Maya. Not to mention against Skags and other melee range attackers, namely wild animals. Also, the other talents for you to dump 5 points at that point in the tree into aren’t particularly impressive. She’s definitely more DoT-centric than Lilith, who has more nukes. Maybe Chain Reaction with a class mod?

Spent my first five keys on the Sanctuary chest. Got a buttload of assault rifles, which I never use, so I’ll give them to my Commando friend. A Vladof RL upgrade, a Maliwan fire E-Tech rifle upgrade, and a Tediore shotgun with nothing special on it but some nice damage. The one weapon that would have made me very happy (placing values on digital representations of killing implements here) is if the shock smg that I got wasn’t Hyperion. The thing is great, except for the awful accuracy at the start. It’s heartrending. TIME TO WAIT FOR MORE KEY CODES MR. PITCHFORD

Dukino’s Mom took me a few deaths to figure out the strategy. Namely, kiting. Got a good Nurse mod with good regen and +4 Sweet Release out of it though. Exactly what I wanted.
I was locked out after I died, but I was able to do some damage from the bridge because there were gaps. Love the turret. :lovin:
