No, it’s too good if they made Dic’s cr.HP a 5 frame start up. I would be content with an 8 or 9 frame start up because his other normals are already very good compared to a lot of the cast.

I disagree, 8 or 9 is still too slow. I want 5 but I would be content with 6. This is pretty much the only change I really want in the next sfiv (I also really hate getting ultra’d after a trade<- this must be fixed imo).

Then stop jumping in and being free. Bison has an excellent ground game, too.

I agree that Bison needs his cape costume from Alpha, and I also wouldn’t mind having that awsome projectile he had in alpha. Also, they need Bison to get revenge on Akuma for beating the living shit out of him. I hate Akuma for doing that to dictator!:devil:

I agree, a 5 frame startup would mean you could start linking it from other normals, which isn’t really necessary. 8 or 9 frames is more than fast enough to work as AA. The problem I see here is that now Bison would have less reason to stand up, and he would start playing more and more like Balrog, which I’m sure the designers want to avoid.

I started to wonder what would happen if you could FADC from his slide, which would seem like a lot of fun, but pretty OP.

Making DR/Skulldiver cross up would be fun too, but I don’t see it helping any of his bad matchups. It would be tricky at first, but once people adjusted, it would only serve to help him against charge characters.

I think it’d also be nice to cut some start up frames off of non-EX PC, since they have really limited use over scissors. Leaving the block disadvantage/speed/throw vulnerability would be fine if the move was OP in beta.

I feel once (if) they rework the power of dp->fadc->ultra, Bison won’t be in such a bad spot.

I’m not sure about having his cr.HP reduced to 8-9 frame start up would make people want to stay crouched more because remember the cr.HP hits at a weird angle and it’s not straight up like Sak or Rog’s. If you can knock them out from above the hand, they’ll probably land in a good space for you to start whipping out st.HK effectively and that’s got a 6 frame start up.

Hey they should even give cr.hp juggle properties because he has no ground move with juggle. Ryu gets his dp juggle into ultra. it would be sweet if bison had a juggle from cr.hp->ultra. what do you think?

So i want cr.hp start-up @ 6 frames with juggle. It would not be too good because bison is unable to combo into cr.hp unlike many other characters who can combo into a juggle into ultra. Boxer, Sagat, Ryu, Rufus, Cammy, Sakura a among the ones who can do this. I am sure there are more but i cannot think of them right now.

6 frame startup would mean Bison could easily link cs.lp into c.hp. Not sure what you mean by unable to combo into it.

Also just to clear it up this is just wishful thinking from me, it is just something i think would be cool. I don’t expect my wishes to come true and I am learning bison accordingly. He is my favorite character and will be my main always. lately the anti air I have been using is jumping forward hp. i try to anticipate their jumps and it has been working out so far.

I admit I do need to stop jumping in. but ultra off of a trade is just silly imo.

BTW-tony how is your truly awesome m.bison strategy guide coming? I am eagerly awaiting its arrival!

Those cr.HP are juggles? I’m pretty sure they’re resets because they set opponents back on their feet.

The Bison document I’m working on is almost done for release, I will post it up next month.

Well with the cross up Skulldiver I was thinking the opponent would have to react really fast to know which was it was coming, and it would only increase the chances that it lands.

As others have said it is kind of dumb how easily headstomp whiffs/is punished. I don’t really use it too much because it seems to be more risky than a shoryuken in some cases which is really dumb considering it is easily beaten and slow.

Also as someone said, having a shoryuken cleanly beat ex HS is pretty stupid, has happened to me but very rare.

All I want (as mentioned already) is PC and SK being not throwable. Make it invulnerable to lows too, it feels weird when I get c.mk out of a Scissor Kick :xeye:

That’s most likely you being too close and getting stuffed on start up.

i’ve taken this from another thread that was not supposed to be made.

i reckon a diagonal Psycho Crusher and or change the Super to a Psycho Ball like Dhalsim.

The Diagonal Psycho crusher can also turn into a light version of the headstomp but with no tracking and straight down with less damage. So its not overpowered coming from an alreasy pwning PC. Even a warp in mid flight would be nice.

it has nothing to do with me not doing the right thing. gief is good up close, so keep gief away, if he’s coming close i keep him away with my pokes.

the fact that gief CAN grab me because his grab goes through fucking attack boxes is what makes the matchup so hard, but it’s still ridiculous that such a thing happens to begin with.
