I’m glad I have use newsgroups. I already have the beta client installed on my computer–just waiting for the key, now. I’m just glad I won’t have to fight traffic when the client is opened up for the open beta. :tup:
The map was awesome although the fps performance seems weird. I know most EA games have frame smoothing but I can’t find the config file to change it in BF3. I get 55-65 fps average on 5 different matches with a single GTX 580 and i7 2600K on highest settings 1080p. I wanna test it later how well it performs on shittier quad-cores and lower end cards.
Well, we’re gonna find out tomorrow. I got a i5 750 @ 4.0, 8GB DDR3, and a GTX 550 Ti.

Already we have perfect vids of how NOT to play BF and leave it up to Wings to post them. He apparently never learned the first rule of BF, no one gives a shit about your K/D. Something you can tell was very important to him. This is something that is going to happen alot though.
I mentioned this to Akimbo to but Machinima Respawn seems to be going out of their way to destroy this game. Almost all the vids talk about how much the beta sucks with almost no specifics besides it isn’t COD.
I was interested in this game, but since they’re not gonna sell it through Steam AND they’re gonna try to make me use their own game management service I’m content to let this one pass by as well
This game is so fucking awesome…on PC!!! At first you wont give a damn about getting kills or objectives because the graphic will rape your fucking eyes! The sound will rape yo ears! Watching the jet fights are epic as hell. The maps are freakin huge but the action never stops!
I only play the sniper class and honestly, the sniper class is alot more aggressive than the past battlefield games. The bullet drop in BF3 is insane!

Everybody that either has mostly CoD stuff on their channel is going to say BF3 is too slow or something like that or they just will put “Commentary” vids up nothing new really. Machinima is the cancer of the gaming community.

think about it. How does Machinima Respawn make their money? Only through CoD. If they played only other games, that company will go out of business.

It’s pretty funny cause I found a sick ass camping stop while on defense on the opposite side of the corridor by this plant. I got all kinds of kills by camping there, especially since attackers will be passing by there more then defenders. I also got kills on people like this video shows who are camping the spot, no problem.
I’ll see ya’ll in the battlefield tomorrow. I know for a fact it’s going take more than half hour to join in a game

I know not everyone likes WoR, and recently I’ve finally brushed him off (for spouting some completely fucked
misinformation, not even about videogames), but I think you’ve definitely misinterpreted the what he’s trying to show
people.

And with how fucking stupid 90% of the players/casuals are in this beta, who only wanted to play because of how pretty
it is, it’s no wonder WoR’s KDR was as ridiculous. I’ve seen quite a few maxed-ranked players already with almost 80%
unlocked completion (and I mean on everything), because of the stupidity. Caspian Border is a big help to that also, LOL.
I think I’m liking the helos in BF3 more than all previous BF games. Even more than the boring jets. Having guns-only,
waiting to unlock sidewinders, is lame. (doesn’t actually take that long).

Downloading the beta now; this Origin crap is the worst thing I’ve seen in a long fucking time. So laggy and buggy and errors left and right. Good job EA for wrapping the game in this shit
