Xbox360 for me. My PC is too crappy to run BF3
I’m calling it right here n’ now. With all the videos I’ve seen via YT and elsewhere of both the console Metro beta
and the PC crowd playing on Caspian, and everything I been reading (and writing myself) this game is either gonna get
delayed, or hit retail with the highest amount of problems DICE has ever let go unanswered, probably banking on the
fact that “we don’t care now because it can be patched later”.
The general negativity from the EAUS forums and even the EAUK forums, and Twitter (directly speaking to DICE on all accounts)
speaks VOLUMES. DICE is either seriously fucking up, or slipping into dementia, EA only waiting for $$$.

Add to that that EA has to beat Activision to the punch no matter what. this “beta” can’t be any worse than MoH…and that was bad.
I was hype for beta, then after about an hour of playing i was bored.
Pros:
Sound efx are fucking amazing
Graphics are pretty sick
Map is awesome
Cons:
-Movement doesnt feel smooth
-Throwing a health kit leaves you about to throw another health kit instead of switching back to primary (this really sucks dick)
-Going prone almost always puts you beneath the ground
-Origin is a big piece of shit
-Joining a game with a party is near impossible using quick match
-YOU CANT CHOOSE YOUR FUCKING SQUAD (please let me know if you figure out how, as of now you can only leave and randomly join… I joined a game with a party and we werent paired in the same squad)
-Cant customize kits until you watch the pointless ass kill cam thing (Really fucking annoying)
sigh… they have a lot to fix
Anyone else having issues with matchmaking?
^ xbox pal was complaining about matchmaking time and how many time it took him to get to level 10 beacuse of the frequent crashing…

I am impressed with their battlelog party voice system though, thats a nice added feature.

I decided not to hook that shit back up to the tv and I just busted out my headphones. OMG the sound is freakin’ amazing in this game. BF games just have some bad ass sound effects. It just sucks with those headphones because the mic is busted so I cant talk when im wearing them.

Im still 50/50 with this game. I don’t like the map at all in the Beta. It sucks hard dick. It’s almost impossible to win as attacker against a decent team.
A lot of glitches still. I hope this is just a really really early Beta build and they have already fixed most of this stuff. My favorite glitch was when I sniped someone and their ragdoll FLEW across the map. Was so hilarious.
Well, it isnt so hard to place a bomb if your team is working together. Right now most people are just running around blasting anything that moves. Everyone is just trying to get a feel for the game, exploring the controls, the map and whatever else. Winning isnt everyones top priority right now I bet.
Any PC players here know if they have VOIP built in?

It is fantastic. Planes, tanks, jeeps. The map is huge. So much ish going down.

The beta code is old, a lot had been fixed already including random hit damage… yeah :\
I like the beta map, i had 6 wins 1 loss in my games yesterday

I know for sure VoIP is done through Battlelog.
