5’10 is a reasonable size. Honestly the height advantage hardly matters in amateur play. I’m the same height and I’m taller than most people I play with. If anything it might be a handicap because most of the shots will be at your feet because people don’t hit with alot of spin and it’s difficult for taller people to get down low.

height gives advantage in serves and groundstrokes because of biomechanics, as a longer radius yields more acceleration. Also in netplay because it’s harder to get balls past you from either side or above.
