Not surprising at all, I’ve been keeping a close eye on him for awhile I think he’s going to be #1 and stay #1 for a while within the next 5 years.
The finish made me so angry and forces me to wonder about whether Federer is still clutch. He had 2 match points. The first one he wasn’t returning. The second point he basically gave away. His subsequent serving set was a joke. So many points just blown due to a forehand with no control compared to his spectacular and trusty backhand. Total meltdown in the last 2 sets.
Gotta give the odds to Nadal, but Federer-Djocovic match was awesome!
