that was part of fed’s gameplan, if you watched del po’s past matches you will noticed that his forehandside is inconsistent though much powerful than his backhand. it worked well for roger earlier in the match but later on del po found his rhythym and that spelled disaster for roger.
I see…well by maybe the 4th set he should have changed it up a bit. del po was absolutely CRUSHING 2nd serves to the forehand from the 3rd set on. fed is pretty stubborn, he could have probably beaten rafa or at least taken him further if he would have changed his gameplan up a bit in all those french opens but he wants to play “his” tennis all the time. i know once you have become the greatest player ever you feel like your game is better than everyone elses, why should i change? i get the feeling he feels that way sometime, which is also why he refuses to have a full time coach.

i too think its gonna be wide open for both the men and the womens side.
while fed and nadal are ahead of the rest of the field, imho, they are no longer invincible and the field has closed the gap between them. the gap is no longer what it used to be. murray may even win a major this year. if nadal can stay healty though i see him drawing first blood.
henins return will be interesting. i can see her winning a major this year. maybe not as quick as clijsters but i do see here winning one.

I give tennis players all the props in the world, tennis and golf are imo two of the hardest sports to play. LOL a few months back my friend and i played doubles with 2 girls from a local community college we got fuckin raped. Its like all the strength speed and athleticism is useless if you don’t know how to hit the ball.
i’m gonna go with fed vs joker in the finals. roddick and nadal should both make quarters but i think fed will win it all.
man, imma go with tennis/golf/mma as the 3 most hardest sports. mma because it encompasses like 2-3 different styles all at once. golf and tennis for crazy hard hand-eye coordination. pretty sure your never gonna see any real life situation where a guy just learns tennis in his 20’s and because a pro. its just too hard imo to get it like that. aiignt no stupid anime storyline in golf and tennis.
wtf how are you going to put golf with tennis as the hardest sports. when golf doesnt even require you to have a workout routine or to be physically fit, or to have cardiovascular endurance. or to play against another humans mind, or to be in motion when hitting a stroke, or to have amazing reactionary reflexes to be able to return 100mph+ balls coming at you. first time i ever played golf i was able to do decent, first time you play tennis, you probably wont be able to touch the ball against a pro. im just saying, thats a ludacris comparison.
