I definitely was too young for that but thanks to Tennis Channel I have watched so many of their classic matches which are all amazing.
did anybody here watch that match between Roddick and El-Aynaoui? That shit was epic
lol watching tennis channel now. 1971 womens semi finals in the us open. chris evert vs. bjk. evert is kinda cute.
OMG…im dying laughing…i never saw that. Tezuka zone is serious.
oh boy this one had me cracking
It gets even more ridiculous.
Tezuka eventually develops the “Tezuka Phantom”. The Tezuka zone makes all balls magically head towards Tezuka, however the Tezuka phantom makes all balls magically head out of the court.
well the tezuka zone is a real concept…ive seen table tennis people use sumtin akin to it…where all the shots come right back to them where they are just standing…but their opponent is running around silly. i dunno what this would be called in tennis. so i guess its safe to assume theirs a realistic version for shots going out of court.
i shat my pants when i found out the snake shot was based on a real thing.
What? Is niggas using chi to pull the ball to them or some shit? Or just backspin? Damn if you expand that concept a little more you probably can throw a fucking hadouken.
haha nah its how u spin the ball…it causes people to hit the ball back in a certain way, directly back to you. its crazy to see in real life…this lil girl at my college does it dudes all the time. its hilarious…their sweating balls and she’s barely moving.
late post:
damn you roger!!! i officially hate you now. you could’ve given this one to andy, he so f**kng deserves one. LoL just kidding. i just had to say that.
who can hate on roger? the guy has GDLK tennis skills, only one to come near his skills imo is rod laver. for me, they’re both at the top and everybody is below them. and both are true class acts in triumph and defeat. did you hear that LeBrick??? legends’ class acts baby!
but props to my man andy roddick, no shame on losing to one of the greatest players ever. he made a more than good account of himself. looking forward to his perfomance in the US Open, man I can’t wait…
ah yeah, the 3 magical words you gonna stumble more than once when watching pot. tezuka zone is just the tip of the iceberg though but have to see it yourself to believe it.
the real zero shiki drop shot btw.

I remember that also, even though I wasn’t much of a tennis fan back then. Not much did he do during his career.
Roger the dodger does it again, but it wasn’t an easy win though. Andy at times looked like it could have been an upset. He had like 50 aces during the match. :lovin:
Even though Roddick didn’t win, his resilence really did show. He still has a good shot in getting the #1 ranking someday.
I heard Fed sent Tiger a text message while Tiger was in the middle of tournament, saying he won. haahha
Actally, it was vice-versa.
Wow, Mirka gave birth to twins… the next dominating pair of sisters in Women’s tennis, the Federers.
pretty good finals here in dc at the legg mason classic. stiffler v. del potro. del petro edges out stiffler in a final set tie breaker. was thinking bout going down there to watch it in person but it was too damn hot today. 100 degree weather plus humidity is ass.
U.S. open, get ready
LET’S GOOO RODDICK LET’S DO THIS
(caps)
Federer played some scary tennis against Murray and Djokovic ending his losing streak to both players.
US Open is going to be sweet and although I want Federer to win 6 in a row. I’m down to give the new Roddick one.
Go Stiffler!
