Morrigan/Gambit has chemistry man. I don’t know why you not doing well with him. But try putting in BBHood as your main assist. BBHood doesn’t have to work as hard as Gambit and their best assist pretty much are the same (BBHoods is a little better).
Try Jill/Morrigan/Psylocke.
Morrigan Psy is a ghetto version of Magneto Psylocke. Fortunately however you have hours to hitconfirm with morrigan as unlike magnus she can do a fairly long string to wait for Psy as opposed to him getting maybe 2 air and 2 ground, with Morrigan you got air dash short, multi hit drill butt / c.short, forward, fierce, if at any point they stop blocking you have enough time to think out psylocke, however this is of course vulnerable to pushblocking.
I would see if you like Cyke Morrigan Psy with that combo. I’m not sure if it’s the best team, but cyke is killer on point, can do large damage with the Morrigan DHC, can build enough gauge and do enough chip to wreck shop. Morrigan is ghetto Magnus, M+P = good. Psylocke’s actually better on point than most give her credit for, and nobody is unhappy to have a cyke assist, even her. I’m not sure which assist Morrigan would be best on to compliment those 2, but Psy and Cyke AAAs pretty much cover that job so maybe have her on balance for her fatty projectile at certain ranges where you don’t want to Psylocke?
Looking for a solid team. I like Sakura, BB Hood, and Chun-Li, but I’m pretty sure they have no team synergy whatsoever. Is there any team with at least two of them in it?
If you start with chun you can trip them use the ground kick superxx BBhood cruel huntingxx Sakura Upward fireball super. It does not look like a great team spud but its not horrible either.
For a true low tier squad it’s not that bad. You could run a couple different orders. sakura/bb(proj)/chun(AAA) is gonna be alright. On the other hand hood can build meter really well so putting her first… and letting her exploit sakura’s dash assist could be nice. The assist goes through a lot of assists and attacks… if you find it beats one of their assist flat… which is often the case… then it can shift the match-up nicely. Chun’s AAA has good speed and priority… it merely lacks invulnerable start-up. So it’s serviceable but you need to time things carefully.

Currently, I’m using two teams. One is Gambit/Cyke/Spiral and the other is Spiral/Cable/Sent. I mostly use the Spiral/Sent trap with this team.
I kind of like using Gambit, but I’d like to utilize him in a team that could compete in high-tier play. Currently I have Spiral set to Ground Assist, because her arms can keep a nice ground combo going. However, I dont think i can sword spam very well with this team. I want to utilize the Gambit/Cyke combo well.
Alright guys, whats a team I can put together that has a mix of offense and defense? My main character in HD Remix is Dee Jay, and he can zone well AND has a decent offense. Even though I know Marvel is waaay different that HDR I’d like a team that has a similar dynamic: flexibility with slightly more emphasis on zoning but not 100% keepaway like Dhalsim in Street Fighter. I don’t care about tiers at all.
Any suggestions?
Gambit/Cyke/Tron. Trust me. Cyclops/Tron is like Rouge/Tron, except lack of cross-ups. Idk about Gambit/Tron, but I know it is good.
You could try Row (Magneto/Cable/Sent a). It has a great offense and you have the zoning with Cable.
Scrub (Cable/Sent/Capcom). Sent/Capcom is amazing and Cable/Capcom has zoning
Santhrax (Storm/Sentinel/Capcom). Storm is both offensive and defensive, and Sent/Capcom is highly offensive.
Matrix (Strom/Sentinel/Cyclops) Same as above except more offense.
And my favorite (Ruby B/Cyclops/Doom) More defensive than offensive. Cyclops turns into an offensive beast though.

Gambit/Tron is def. a good crossup, Gambit has a crossup kick move in itself.
I was using Gambit/Cyke/Blackheart before. Blackheart is alright, but Tron might be better.
alrighty…this team is going to seem kind of odd but i have a thriving low tier scene in my area and this was something i was having a bit of success with…Omega Red (A)/ Ken (AAA)/ Tron (Y)…I originally started Ken on point mostly for some instant overhead into tron but i figured that Omega builds meter a little better and benefits from having both of their assists available to him…basically what i am asking is…is there an assist maybe a character that you would replace this with
Not much really… that team looks fairly solid for low tier… u could switch ken or red in at point… depending on matchups I guess.
That low tier team is great. You need nothing at all. A suggestion if you don’t want Ken on your team: Try Omega (a)/morrigan (a)/Tron (y). I swear Morrigan/Tron crack some skulls that it’s not even funny. You can also put Cammy in, but it isn’t as good as Morrigan/Tron.
@Anybody that is reading this and want a Offensive and Defensive team
I saw some people play with this team, but they weren’t really good. So I tried it and I won 10 in a row. It is a low tier team, but can be made into a top tier team with a quickness.
Captain America (b)/ SS (b)/Zangief (a)
This team is used more of a silver samurai gimmick team. It is based on his qcf+KK hyper. If you play with sentinel, or any giant for that matter, you probably hate this special, because you can mash for a very long time and it can take half of Sentinels life.
Captain america is there to do some long combos and build at least 4 or 5 bars. Then do a combo that ends in a hyper with him and DHC out into SS’s lighting hyper. When he’s out, you can do some running, chipping and meter building with TK shurikens. if you get up close use Zangief’s assist to keep your opponent there for an easy half life drain with qcf+KK. This is an unfair low-tier team. You have to be careful with Zangief’s assist though. It can be ducked by short characters like spider-man and shit. So use only if your opponent is attempting to jump in, or if you combo into it.
Any pixie can replace Captain America IMO as long as you don’t use all the meter, but he just works good with Zangief. And I am trying to obtain Higher CapAm, so I keep him in.
thanks for the vote of confidence…my biggest problem really is safe DHC’s…well now that i think about it with low tier i don’t really have to worry Cable AHVB…just curious what are some of the faster supers in low tier
yea i definetly know all about that morrigan/tron shit…guy in my area runs Thanos(a)/ Morrigan(AAA)/ Tron(y) and absolutely wrecks…make a mistake and its bye bye character not named Sent
Hey all, I’ve been going around trying different people since this was release on PSN/XBL, and two characters I’ve come to enjoy are Hayato and Doom. I like all of Doom’s projectiles and his assist, and I usually play him as a keepaway character or to put on pressure with Hayato. Is there any third character that can work with these two? Or another team that does what I try to do(alternate between keepaway and pressure) better than these two? I hear a lot about Strider and Doom but not much about a third character.

Hayato/Doom doesn’t seem like they work together, I’ll try them out and see if I get something, but yeah.
Tron works good with both characters though. So the team would be Hayato/Doom/Tron. It is pretty good once you master Hayato. Also, you can put in Sentinel in Hayato/Doom. Sentinels Drones are good with almost all characters. In fact its Hayato’s best friend since Hayato isn’t as fast as some of the other characters.
The best team if you play a keepaway doom however is Hayato/Sent/Doom. It’s a solid team that can do big damage if you have an excellent Hayato.
ok another question for u guys…im trying to use Omega Red as my pointman in a more high tier environment and i know that Omega plus drones is gdlk but should i use an anti-air assist to help cover Omega from the sky or try my luck with doom rocks
Thanks much for both the compliments and the advice! Working on learning Tron now, and Sentinel later(not the biggest fan of top tier). Already having a much higher success rate than I did just randomly picking a third.
if you’re already using sent drones doom rocks doesn’t really add anything since they fill the same role
