I for one say KO should be bring back the SA3 Makoto.
No. I’ve been back since the 3rd. :bluu:
…or Sean.
No Makoto for K.O. in tournaments please lol, he wasnt actually that good with her…yet. Christ give it like 3 months and he could probly gonna be insane with her. Although I have to give it to him, hes gotta be the most fearless dude ive ever seen…saw him pick SA3 against YUN! Heza crazy man =0.
Thanks for that link deviljin =), much appreciated.
My bad…I posted the wrong link. Here’s the correct one.
KSK has such a hearty laugh. Haha.
Name me a situation where he could’ve succesfully thrown his opponent where he didn’t:P K.O played a pretty good Ken in my opinion, I think his major flaws are being parry happy and simply not having the Ken feel for c.MK XX SA3.
ko use to have a dope ass mak, i use to have a tourney he won with her
It thought this was a neat one.

Thanks Jida. So KO is now playing with Ken?
GG’s.
I think K.O’s main is still Yun. It’s just that he f’s around with a bunch of characters. I heard something about him playing Gouki once…
Do the Japanese “hold back” when playing against foreign players? Just wondering.
He played like a scrub when he did though. Air fireballs all day long. I think he only did it because the people he was playing against were terrible. Really terrible.
I think his best characters are Yun, Makoto, and Dudley – IMO.
I mean; yeah he’s just fucking around. But my point is that he’s really really good with some of the characters he fucks around with – but definitely better with some more-so than others.
[Edit]: What I want to see is more footage from a really long casual set between Boss and KO.
Hey does anyone have that RanBat with the good Ibuki player? I forgot who that player’s name was sadly.
Oh and what was the nick of the one who plays with SA III Ryu? His nick started with V-something I belive.

Vanao?
It’s possible that some do. Perhaps they’re just trying to get a feel for the playstyle of someone from another country. I’ve seen some matches (that appeared to be the first of a set) that were straight rape, or furthermore, matches in which the JP player wasn’t holding back.
Ack has only played a Chun Li and a Yun. Chun Li favors zoning and Urien is probably one of the fewer characters that can counter poke Chun at high range, so it’s very easy for Ack already to push the Chun backwards. Next to that comes that most Chuns play runaway game, so they’ll always be moving backwards.
Yun on the other hand doesn’t favor any game outside his genei jin which means running away etc etc. Ack barely gave Boss a chance to charge his meter which prevented Boss going anywhere.
EDIT: major fix: I meant that Yun doesn’t favour any sort of offensive game outside his genei-jin, which means Yun will be forced to run away most of the time. Sorry for any misunderstandings I may have caused.
So I don’t think it can be determined already that japanese just hold back against foreigners specifically.
Japanese players however do hold back often, I think the reason to do this is to prevent getting themselves into a defense lock where they can’t get out of. If you’re at Ken’s s.MP range and you hold back to defend, the c.MK will most likely whiff. Sweep doesn’t reach much further which makes standing moves better candidates, which you can dash around for some good damage depending on the char you have. After walking out of such ranges the situation becomes neutral(no player has an advantage) which means you can set up your offense. A nice extra is that you evade parry points this way aswell.
