Aussie 3S players are funny. I remember a while back I downloaded some Aussie 3S footage and the people in the background weren’t speaking English. Are all the Aussie players FOB?
If so, from where?
The Aussie 3s scene has a variety of ethnic backgrounds. (Caucasian, Japanese, Italian, Vietnamese etc) However the majority are of Chinese descent, either ABC’s (Australian Born Chinese) and some from HK who have lived here for several years.

I think the australian players are really good, they always have been to be honest, its strange cuz you dont hear about them much.
Yeah…I guess no one really pays attention to them cuz they never come out for Evo n such. If these guys hit up Evo 2k7 they’ll get recognized fo sho.
Yeah, same as Hong Kong players too, but I dont think these players are interested in venturing out to events like evo, probably because they have so much competition in their homeland, albeit not tournaments.
But I think its also important that countries build their own scene and strive to have events as big as evo for themselves. That way players dont have to travel so much just to play in a big event. Even here in the UK we have an organisation trying hard to build the tournament scene after having to pick up the pieces from when the scene kinda went dead for a while.

That last match infact is just an example I mean the guy I am playing is from hong kong, normally kicks my ass all over the place, but he doesnt use ibuki much anyway. And as talented as he is at the game, he doesn really bother entering tournaments even in hong kong if there ever are any held.

I won an online tournament. That’s what happened to it. This new avatar is a trophy of my scrubbiness. I’ll bring it back sometime though. Can barely stand looking at Ken any ways.
Wow, The new KSK ranbat is awesome! I knew RX and Roshihikari would advanced to the finals. However, the battles between those two were truly breathtaking. They’ve displayed a lot of skill in their battles.

Any ways…the finals were definitely a shocker. I expected Roshi to run through RX. As good as RX is…SA3 Yang is pretty rape against Urien. Yet…RX has definitely fought against tons of SA3 Yangs so it was just a matter of keeping himself out of the setups and looking to get those key hits in to run Yang’s health bar down.

i have many rx vs roshihikari vids that ranbat is the first time i’ve ever seen him win a match against rx out of all the videos i have
that ranbat was insane, the final match was intense
for some reason, the setup RX did against zangoef at the end of match stood out to me the most, i’ve never seen anyone do that at the end of an aegis setup
and it seriously amazes me how good/consistent roshi is with sa3 yang in every match, that stuff is harder than genei jin
Somehow to me it seems that Rx and Roshihikari know each other qute good and play against each other often. They also did sometimes team up for team tournaments like kyushu taikai etc.
Maybe I’m wrong the matches just look to me if they knew each other quite well…
Also the anti air strong reset -> Abare tosonami from C 13 was really cool.
And last but not least: Please stop spoiling the matches for the others. Its just annoying to read like one post from the one which posted the new ranbat already the winner…Just write Spoiler: in front of your post or something…
