I watched it and I didn’t notice anything special.
First time I’ve seen half decent Elena play from the Japanese.
She’s got some pretty good throw mix-ups.
Does her RH go over Chun’s c. MK?
Watching Sean P, you can see why Sean is useless though. Even if you get an opening, you can’t really punish with anything, which means you pretty much need hadou burst to do any damage at all.
Nice to see the two least used characters in 3S on the same team though.
Yeah…her RH goes over Chun’s c.MK to hit her in the face. Just have to be careful obviously cuz if you whiff…you die. I do like Elena though. Meaty f+MP to super is nice. Her mix ups are fun yet her zoning game is also crazy good. Like Chun…except more fun and hotter. Having somebody that can deal with Oro’s jump happy stuff is always good too.
Elena is amazing. Her c.LK and c.MK are wonderful pokes. Her HK and b+HK (Chainsaw!) are retarded good. Her MP and c.MP are stupid good anti-airs – c.MP is even a really good anti-crossup. And Elena can jump in on Chun for free – Chun has nothing that beats Elena’s jump-ins cleanly, the best she can do is parry or trade. Her overheads are freaking fast, hard to spot, and have retarded range (especially f+MP). Her LK is stupid fast and sets up her stupid fast karathrow (f+MK kara), which is also hard to spot (and fast!). She has a really effective trap off of LK; either karathrow, HK/UOH, or c.MK/HK = stupid good.
All her supers are really good, too. They just aren’t on Chun/Yun/Ken-level. But they are still beast.
Elena is basically Chun-Lite. But way more fun to play. Elena has a lot of really good match-ups too.

Basically, Elena has the least intellegent normals of any 3s character.
