Im just really impressed with Yamazakis game. You know all this āwhos the best japanese playerā discussion a while ago, yet no one values what Yamazaki has accomplished. He may not be the best japanese player or even among the top 10 but damn, it takes lots of skill to win matches against upper mid tier characters with such a crappy character. I mean, at least Hugo and Q have above average defenses and can deal decent damage, if you look at Yamazakis matches youll see that he literally wins rounds with just c.lk, c.mk and air attacks. Not to mention he is playing in an extremely competetive environment. Mad props to that guy.

One of the matches in part 3 was crazy
i am again surprised by what is not on youtube so i uploaded the old ncubed stuff, when japan came to nebraska. some of the ncubed tourney matches didnāt upload but i got up the japan vs usa vids where they played a shitty jap team and usa won 12-13, and i got japan vs nebraska where nebraska played the good jap team. idk what was going on maybe nebraska played first and everyone good went to go chill

I think read about that once. IIRC the controls were kinda shitty and Japs werenāt digginā the weather. Itās rumored that due to this tourney Japanese players typically show up on the West Coast.
that doesnāt explain why nebraska played the good team and usa played shitty team. and what happened is the jap sticks they had for the japanese fucked up and the arcade tech was gone or something so they were forced to play on american sticks.
