Yeah, Hugo was looking top tier in the movies. I think the other players werenât rushing him down hard enough though. Ibuki and Akuma with their lower stamina but great mixups can put a lot of pressure on the Hugo. Instead youâll see both Ibuki and Akuma in the corner playing defensively which they simply donât have the stamina to do. Hugo did some walk up 360s on the Ibuki which shows a lack of pressure on the Ibuki players part and ditto to the akuma player getting cornered. Hayao seemed to tech throws like crazy.
I agree that the Ibuki player is not at Hayaoâs lvl but itâs amazing how close the match was still. Nonetheless great matches!
everyone says this by watching Hayao vids. Itâs nearly impossible to really understand what fighting vs Hayao does mean until you try it by yourself.
I played quite a bunch of matches against him when he visited Europe, and I must say heâs just the scariest thing ever to play against. His defense is unpenentrable cause he blocks everything, can red parry like crazy and he is too good at teching throws. His spacing is perfect and heâll catch every single chance you give him with the best possible damage/positioning.
Without spoiling a whole lot, let me just say this. First half of the video: awesome. Second half of the video: kinda boring.

The matches arenât boring, theyâre exciting like all good SF matches are, itâs just that I enjoyed watching Easuto more. I really like how he plays.
Also, I use MicroTorrent (aka uTorrent), and I love it. It doesnât take up as much space and doesnât use as much memory as some other programs, but it runs just as well.
If you want to learn Yun, I think this is as good as it gets, no better, lol.

I played against Easuto (yellow Twelve) a week ago, and fuck! His twelve is fuckin crazy as shits! I havnt really played against Yamazaki to compare but he just might be better than him. He had me locked down in the corner and I couldnt escape at all.
We will definetly see more of him in the coming ranbats.

I am not trying to discredit Hayao in any way. His play was flawless. Just saying that the akuma and ibuki players gave up on offense and that is really all they have. An akuma or ibuki player may lose while playing offensively, but they will certainly lose playing defensively. It is probably frustrating to play against someone with defensive skills like Hayao.
Why is it that people complain about Yun being boring but never seem to complain about Ken? Custom combos, command grabs, an okay variety of regular combos, GJ resets, etc. I am not saying I find Kenâs play boring by any means. The only characters I find some what boring are Yang and Chun because of how braindead their play can be. Regardless of that, I have still seen many good entertaining Yang and Chun fights.
There is a lot of variety in the fights in the second half of this ranbat and they are certainly entertaining.

This is just my dumb opinion, but Iâve hated Yun from the very first time I was introduced to 3s,(those Bust Karate Dojo videos of Arleith, Pyrolee, 5star, and Victoly.) I hadnât even played the game yet and I already thought Yun was the lamest/annoying-est/most boring character.
