The Official 2020 NFL Thread: Buccaneers win Super Bowl 55

The Chiefs are going to be dominate for years upon years to come.
Mahomes FINALLY had a bad game and even he couldn’t overcome shitty o-line play against elite pass rushers.

Tampa now has to figure this offseason out. Barrett, David, Godwin, Fournette, Gronk, Suh, Brown all are UFA in a low cap year. You can extend Brady and reduce his pay this next year but I feel either Godwin or Barrett are the odd man out if they can’t work magic to bring them all back.

Also all those HC openings and Bowles didn’t get a fucking job?

It’s crazy seeing how KC was favored knowing that they are missing O-line and Buccs has their pass rush in full. I knew Mahomes would have trouble cuz of that. He still made some crazy throws that should have been caught, but you can say a bunch of should’ve could’ves in every game.

Pretty funny that all the players that scored a TD were ex Patriots. Fournette being a Jaguar.

Teams can’t interview Bowles while he’s still in season. And his season ended yesterday and slots have already filled up by then.

This was Brady’s…

“But since 1985, 10 of the 20 best teams in DVOA through Week 7 went on to the Super Bowl, and seven of those teams won it all.”

I remember reading this article and thinking ok the ONLY 2 loss team on the list is gonna defy the odds?. Also Tampa and KC were the most simulated SB before the season…

It really is crazy how this kinda crap can understand the MAX potential for every team not only through 7 games project but even before the season project the most likely outcome…

I don’t even watch the NFL much anymore but…why Bears why??

To think 11 months ago I hated this fucker… NOW I see he was in a abusive relationship and needed a fresh start to be himself…

Plus the video of him boat to boat tossing the Bardi was epic AF…

…well!

I feel bad for Texans fans right now. The “Inmates” got tired of the shit and just want a new asylum.

When even the face of your franchise wants no more part of your bullshit, you know you fucked up.

Now that I think about it why did they simply let him go? I’d think at the very least you could work with him to find a team he’d like to go to and get some assets in exchange. Seeing as how they’re very deficient in them right now this could’ve been a godsend and they quote on quote “fumbled the bag.” I feel bad for Texans fans. Their franchise is run by complete imbeciles.

Because the franchise is being ran by a grade A buffoon and his preacher.

JJ and his agent probably either forced their hand to let him go and not trade him so that he won’t bad mouth them on the way out if they traded him somewhere he didn’t want or sweet talked them into letting him go. It doesn’t hurt he had no guarantee money left that they have to pay but much like letting Kenny Stills walk for nothing mid season just before Fuller got suspended, this is showing how poorly the franchise is being ran.

I never thought I would lose my favorite/home town NFL team in a worst way then the Oilers left yet here we are.

Sad to see Vincent Jackson go, and at 38 years old, he’s still way too young, RIP.

On another note, I hope my Packers pick up JJ Watt and actually do something for a damn change, because our conservative garbage is why Rodgers has wasted his best years as a QB for the Packers franchise.

Za’Darius Smith was the 2nd most double teamed player in the league this past season…and guess who was number 1? JJ Watt.

Please Packers, put those two on the same line, and our defense will 100% automatically be better already, because they wouldn’t be able to double team both, which would produce results instantly already.

I want Watts leadership on the Packers team, which has been sorely missed since the days we still had Charles Woodson around, and Watt would give accountability to the team to step up their game, especially defensively, and also he’s a mans mans off the field as well.

Everytime we’ve picked up a veteran defensive player…we have gone to the Super Bowl (White 2x, Woodson) so I may be reaching, but at this point, I don’t give a damn anymore because we are literally one to two pieces away from Super Bowl or bust.

The issue of supposed “Cap space” is not a problem either, because with a few restructuring, we can easily put Watt on the payroll and I’m willing to bet at this point of his career that he will be willing to take a pay cut at this point because he is now Ring Chasing.

Wisconsin Boy back home to play with his childhood team, please Packers…make this happen.
