good shit on trying to get regular Chicago tournys going again. That was always something that helped make the scene stronger that seems to have been missing for a while. EVERYONE better make an effort show up (except me and Rob but we have good excuses :P)
Also, ALL of you better go to EVO this year. Even im going!
is it true!? I’d definately be looking forward to MvC2 tourneys…as they seemed to die around when I started going to them at nickels.
and though I very much appreciate getting to play derek/hugo/tonyK very often, I’d like to play against the Marks/GLBs/Geronimos of chicago more often than just at a few tounreys

Yeah I would like to go to final round. Lets come up with a gameplan. So far I got 3 people(including me) that plan/would like to go. Maybe we can all get together(via pms, text, calls, getting together) to brainstorm some ideas.
Also I have to go to ATL either way. So I’ll be going up there regardless.

Considering I used to drive to SJG like every Sat which took 1.5 hours because the Edens always fails…plus I have the bonus of whopping on Eric in 3S :lol: so long as he doesn’t pick his ghetto Hugo

if he plays PC, what does he go by? I’ve been playing for about 2.5 years now, so I know most of the community haha…
PC is where it’s at for that game though, especially if you got decent memory and a nice vid card. The visuals are outstanding if you have the settings adjusted correctly.
360 does have the larger community though, and they’re on a separate server…which doesn’t help things.
I wouldn’t say it’s the best game to pick up as a new player, since it’s closing in on it’s dying days. However it is a blast if you already have a few friends that play. That’s the only reason I’ve stuck with it so long.

I wish TvC was more available to people. From what I understand, some people in Chicago have it but not a whole lot of people have played it. If/When these bi/weeklies happen, I’d love to see people take interest in the game.
