Its like all those new year resolutions, this year I’m gonna lose weight, this year I’m gonna do this and that.
fuck that, if you can’t get motivated enough to do it because it should be done what makes you think that you’re going to get serious when SF4 comes out? Sure for maybe a month or 2 some of you will still be serious, but most of you are just gonna drop back into casual mode and wonder why you keep getting your asses kick by EC and WC.

HEY GUYS! GUILTY GEAR AND OTHER STUFF GATHERING THIS SATURDAY!
Keep in mind I’m NOT the host of this event and it’s public, like Screenz. I’m just trying to get some GG players there to get some games in, but anyone is welcome with their own setup and games.
Cost(Yes there is one): $10 for admission, sorry for the priciness, but I’m not setting the price. If anyone brings a GG setup I’ll pay $5 for you. This is only valid for the first 2 people, because I don’t want 1 million unused setups and $5 million in debt.
A TIP: Last time a friend of mine just snuck in with us late during the event, because we all had paid already and the host thought he paid already since he was in our group. They really don’t check well to see if you paid or not, so you can lie about it, but if you get caught, you didn’t hear it from me. If you can’t do the time, don’t do the crime.
Location: It’s at UIC building SEL. I’m not sure about the room, I forgot. I’ll update later. It’s on Taylor and Halsted, to the left side if you’re going towards North. Last time I didn’t even provide the building and people managed. If you want my cell phone, PM me. My name is Wai Yin(Way Yin) and if you play GG I love you already.
Time: It officially starts on Saturday at 3-4PM, but people always go on Fridays. I personally won’t be there until Saturday, so yeah, you can go if you want. The event ends on Sunday sometime, so you get to stay there the whole night. It’s a LAN party and then some.

i was at screenz last month, just happened to stumble in there trying to preorder a TE stick from the GS two doors down. never knew it was there and its literally right down the street from me. suffice it to say, i will be going back to kick some more tail.

update…weeklys or bi-weeklys WILL be happening i have a location in mind and everything is looking good so far because i found out extra good news about the location…tournys will probably be 1$ entry so EVERYONE can enter everything without having worry about wasting money in games they “dont really play” as there wont be people running these tournys soley for the purpose of making some money for the week…i will probably run tournys for all evo games at this location but im not 100% sure on that yet…but there will definitly be sf4 every week and atleast one other title…might rotate it around a little instead of having 1 day with 3571517 tournys…this will be THE best way to level up in everything and i will post more details once things are finalized

Syxx: I didn’t have a plan to…but I did want to go to Screenz at some point just to see what the place is like for myself, maybe that would be a good opporitunity to do that…
I won’t be entering the gamestop tournaments (as far as I know) due to me being scheduled to work that night (but Jims place is still ON! Yeah, I’ll be recording…might even do some commentary…I still gotta post up the frankies house sessions…) but if the GS thing changes, I’ll let y’all know and I’ll hold it down for y’all in my neck of the woods…
