Kirby Fighters 2 looks super fun. Sure is a smash clone but the way i see it the community treats smash as a “serious” fighter lol (1v1 no items only certain stages) and this game is mainly for casual fun as multiplayer. I dont have Smash and might consider getting Kirby tbh
I love Sunshine, but I get lost easy. It’s like a repeat of this when it first came out. Galaxy is ok so far. I’ve been playing handheld since I’ve had this, so maybe that’s why? I’m still early too?
I’m at 28 stars in Mario64. Having a blast playing through it again, but I’m taking my time with it due to being a dad and all (and Rocket League and THPS). I think I’m looking forward to playing Sunshine the most though. Hype for Galaxy as well, but Sunshine I played so long ago and from what I’ve seen Mario moves a lot faster and smoother than either 64 or Galaxy. Especially looking forward to those platform levels sans FLUDD.
They are watching over her. Humans call it a bukkake. However if it’s with Toads it’s called a mushroom cloud.
Don’t like the cat goblins in Monster Hunter, but I would buy that amiibo.
It’s very odd Nintendo is trying to bring these back since they were a huge part of why the amiibo bubble burst

Fall/Halloween update trailer
I’m back on my Vampyr kill em all run. I chowed down on 6-7 citizens last night and I have experience burning a hole in my pocket right now, yet I’m already at the level I was in my previous run but I’m barely halfway through the game. Plus there are some great items I got by killing these poor bastards. And the boss I had so much trouble with last run, I killed in about 5-6 hits.
This is definitely a more fun way to play because you can level up your vampire powers more and they really do hella damage once you trick them out.
ha, nice… I should get back to that as well. Oh yeah, Dr. Reid is a vampiric powerhouse if you just start feeding on everyone with reckless abandon. It’s awesome. Another random great moment just came to mind— that time you have to handle the blackmailer situation, and there’s a couple of ways you can go about that. On the first session with this game, I chose to compel her to forget…but it works too well and it’s like her mind is actually damaged as a result…like you erased too many memories and broke her!
This new era of vampires finally getting their time in video games is something I’ve wanted ever since I was a kid…though I need these companies to make more real action games like Vampyr… at the moment there’s things that would be interesting but they happen to be genres I don’t like (visual novels and turn-based strategy )
I’m wondering if Nintendo is going to announce on social media about when/how long the info dump for Age of Calamity will be? Or if they’re just going to dump all the videos on YouTube first thing in the morning .
I read it was going to be an hour long but that was an unsubstantiated post i read, so grain of salt and all that jazz.
That post was from me. Lol. All the tweets I found about it have been deleted.
Nintendo Ninja’s got to them!
I imagine a lot of it will be chopped and edited gameplay from TGS. There’s supposed to be an hour gameplay video of Age of Calamity at TK’s booth
Yeah I’m one shotting Prewen assholes with that Blood Spear move as well as the shadow thing that creates a vortex and you can fill your blood gauge with it. But I got A really great pistol from Tom Watts and a few assorted knives from other people so I might investigate those. I’ve mainly been using the scythe as far as weapons because I didn’t use any two handed weapons last time and the scythe has some great bloodletting properties.
I think I killed Nurse Crane this time around, but I let her go last time. I’ll have to do a third run where I compel her to forget because that sounds pretty cool that her brain breaks lol. I also let Sean Hampton live this time around, and I think I’m actually going to turn Aloysius Dawson and the Prewen leader.
On the off chance there ends up being a sequel, I’m curious as to how they handle things story-wise… with a game like this, there’s obviously different ways it all played out. The most interesting way to me is when they make it so the new game does a check of what you did in the previous one and works with that… I think it was Mass Effect that did this last gen; I thought that was the perfect way to handle games like this where the story is slightly different depending on the actions of the player.
edit—ideally, I’d like a sequel to be in a different time; it’s Dr. Reid again but perhaps in 1950s America or anywhere else…this is always the cool thing with vampires…since they are immortal, you can set a story in any time period with the same characters, and it makes sense…and you get to explore the interesting questions there—like how has this person changed over all that time…are they even more of a monster now, or perhaps in denial about this thing he has become?
…oddly enough I never got into Mass Effect though… I bought the first one when it was super-cheap one day, but never got that far in it (the start of the game is terribly slow/boring for me…it was not reeling me in)…then I bought Andromeda and sadly we all saw how that turned out… at least gameplay-wise it was fun.
Mass Effect 1 is more about giving the universe a platform than it is about the action happening. That way in the sequel you care about what’s happening, who it’s happening to, why it’s happening etc.
That said, If you don’t go to any of the side quest planets and just go through the 3 (iirc it’s been awhile) story line planets you can beat the game in a few hours.
ME2 is where things pick up. It’s guns blazing and ass hole clenching almost the entire game. Everything you’re doing in ME2 and did in the previous game matter as the 2 progresses.
All the DLC for 2 is great too. But the story building and lore of the first one make you realize how good 2 is. The only downside is how boring they made Jacob.
One of the things I like most about Vampyr IS the setting. If they were to do a sequel, I can’t really think of a place and time other than maybe New Orleans at some point where it would have a vibe like it does now. London in the early 20th century still has that Victorian feel and I love that so much that I can’t imagine what they’d do that could top it. I’d open to a sequel though.
Games on sale.
Cool vertical scroller shooter, where the grazing bullets to boost score and meter. Soundtrack is awesome!
I’m grabbing this one on the next errand run. I want physical but at this price it’s hard to say no.
Psyvariar Delta is dope. Its a remake of a Dreamcast shmup, and include the Revision version from PS2, and a new Delta Mode. Its based on the ships you choose. Psyvariar is interesting in that if you dont score well enough and level up enough (grazing bullets earns exp) then you wont be allowed to access the later stages of the game.
Games really cool and unique within the Genra. Peppy would be proud of the number of Barrel Rolls.
