The Nintendo Switch Thread v. Come post on Mega Shock!: I’m not updating this anymore

Some more Amiibo would be cool. The Zelda themed ones are my favorite by far.

I hope the ones I own do something cool in Age.

Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3 :fist:t4:

Still pissed the Vita version wasn’t localized.

In the original Hyrule Warriors they’d give you access to higher tiers of weapons you had unlocked early. Or they’d give you 4-slot (6-slot? It’s been a while) weapons (the max amount of abilities you could forge onto your weapon) of one of your weapons.

From what little I’ve been able to find about AoC it seems like amiibo functionality will do similar but with armor as well. Since that’s apparently going to be a thing.

I want a big thicc boi Calamity Ganon amiibo. I want it to be $30 like Detective Pikachu or $40 like Mega Yarn Yoshi

Baby sitting thing I get, Fire Emblem Warriors was actually a lot easier in dealing with that since you had more control over what characters were doing on the battlefield without directly controlling them and I wished that Hyrule Warriors definitive edition had took the ideas from FEW and fully implemented them but they didn’t.

Yea a Calamity Ganon Amiibo would be sick. Dunno where I’d put it, it would have to be huge but I would deffinitly buy one lol.

Man. I fucked hated FEW. The entire combat system felt incredibly shallow. Which is funny for a Musou game. Also a lot of the FE tropes I felt just didn’t really mesh with what Musou’s are. Also the roster just wasn’t fun to play with.

You can only do so much with 40 sword wielders. lol. Get that Pegasus shit out of my face (I know im over exaggerating but I really did hate the how one dimensional every character felt when playing)

It was just a bad game all around for a lot of people. It got clearanced out by a lot of stores quick. I remember seeing copy’s at my work and at best boy for around $15-25. The 3DS version even less.

It and Smash are the only games I regret buying for my switch.

Didn’t you buy BOTW and hate it?

Oh yeah. That too. Lol.

That’s how relevant botw is to me. I forgot about it’s existence

Our tastes are so diametrically opposed that you liking Musous worries me even more…lol.

The only issue I had with FEW personally was it didn’t represent the different weapons that characters had throughout the series and then to add insult to that, they had a couple characters movesets copy pasted over a few of the characters. Other than that I thought they did a great job representing FE in Warriors form especially in how you can move your units across the map.

One of my favorite Super Mario 64 is the opening cut scene. The camera panning around Peach’s Castle, the music, and the build up to Mario jumping out of that warp pipe in 3D with a joyful “YAH-HOO!” It gets me every time. Real talk, that is one of my favorite moments in any video games. Before Super Mario 64, we had seen Mario exits pipes all the time. For his 3D debut, Nintey knew it was a big deal, hencd that cut scene. Mario coming out of a warp pipe had never looked more awesome.

Wall-Kicks Will Work is still one of the most annoying Power Stars for me to get after all these years. The crummy camera angles really screw you over

One of my absolute favorite pieces of music is the File Select screen. Koji Kondo could have left that screen with no music, but he gave us such a whistle worthy, upbeat theme. Sometimes I would linger on the file select screen just to hear it. Thank God for extended VGM.

Also, Metallic Mario suuuuuch a BANGER. Sure, it’s a remix of the Super Star theme (something it took me years after the release of SM64 to realize) but it is sooooll goood! Like, what goes on in Kondo-san’s head when he is writing music? I legit want to know and study his thought patterns.

heh, I always found it amusing that it’s only the games with other IPs using the Dynasty Warriors “musou” style that interest me. One would probably have to pay me to play an actual Dynasty Warriors game.

There was a Bleach one on PS3 that was good… too bad it came out before the series was over, so there was only so much they could put in that one…that also meant there were certain things like some characters’ bankai powers that were unknown at the time.

The ultimate dream musou for me though would be a Power Rangers/Super Sentai one. Imagine—HUGE cast of playable characters from every season. Fights starting off in your human form but then you change to Ranger form in the heat of battle…team-up special attacks… Zord summoning specials…fights where it’s you in your Megazord vs. giant monsters and major villains like Lord Zedd and Master Org… I’d throw in some playable villains too. Also—at least 2 or 3 player co-op. This would be GOLD, folks.

A lot of convenient stores in Japan, mainly 7/11 are promoting that the next smash dlc character is going to be revealed on 10/4

I hope it is a third party again but would be fine as long as the character isn’t from an already represented Nintendo franchise, unless it is Xenoblade Chronicles and it is either a X or Torna rep.

Kamen rider for me

That’s not how this works.

If it was Zero One with all his transformations and powers would be broken AF.
