Mario All-Stars is so weird. There’s parts air where I just…drop as opposed to the original versions. Glad it’s on the app and I get to play it, but…yeah.
BOTW-Musou looks cool, but that’s a skip. Gonna end up snagging it as a gift though.
Was on the fence about Mario 3D All stars, but my copy of Odyssey went missing. I’m guessing it’s next to my lost copy of Splatoon 2. Never played Galaxy and this is a limited run so fuck it.
3D All Stars being a limited release physically is one thing, but for digital is an assholes move though, haha.
The Mario Allstars games run on a different engine from the originals so they don’t behave exactly the same as the NES originals.

man, the existence of this game “Othercide” frustrates me… the art direction in that game is DELICIOUS… looks soooo awesome…like it’s something that would be right up my alley… but it’s a damn “strategy” (turn-based, I think…?) game…breaks my heart there.

It’s kind of a similar thing with the Vampire Coteries of New York and now Shadows of New York (which is out today, btw)… I’m the biggest fan of that lore and the story…but it’s a damn visual novel

Ion Fury was looking pretty lit to me so I went ahead and ordered it off Amazon. I thought it only had a digital release but the physical version is only about $10 more. (Digital is $24.99)

Was looking through the Coming Soon section on the eShop and came across a game called Firework. It had some simple looking visuals but I got some Mega Man X vibes aftet seeing a trailer for it.

Old Shantae games are coming to Switch? That is news to me! Have to keep an eye out.
Hotshot Racing dropped yesterday. Game is on other platforms but I went with the Switch version since it is what I play on mostly these days. The visuals and track designs give me major Ridge Racer/Ridge Racer Revolution and Virtua Racing vibes. Acceleration and brake anre on the trigger buttons so they may take some getting used to. Drifting gives you boost and you can also use slipstream from other drives to get extra speed and pass them. There’s a ton of car parts and skins to unlock with the cash you earn. Currently the game is $15.99 until 9/16 as opposed to the $19.99 price on the eShop.

Preorders for both of them just went live this morning actually.

I eyed up the cost of the three Shantae games they have for Switch plus the slipcover. Right at $100 before tax and shipping for me. I’m really tempted, since I’ve never played a Shantae game; but I don’t want to risk my wife’s wrath over it.
Edit: Sold some extra arcade parts I had lying around, so I’m probably getting the Mario 3D collection on Friday after donations are done. I’m still on the fence about ordering the three Shantae games.
