I was partial to Green Knight.
But that’s because green is my favorite color.

ok yeah, I’ll have to look up a map or youtube vid on Carrion. I’m getting tired of just aimlessly wandering around in that game, never sure of where I should be going next.
Picked up Virtua Racing for about 2 bucks after the discount and my gold points. Always wanted to play that game but never got a chance. I love q good arcade racer!
Yeah I think I paid $4 for it. I haven’t played it since the first day I got it. It’s super bare bones and gets old pretty quick to me. Still for the $4 I paid I got at least $4 out of it in that one play through considering it was $1/game lol in the arcade.
I get the yen to play a racing game sometimes because I was big into Gran Turismo 2 back in the day. This game isn’t that deep but I’m having fun with it and they at least have an online mode which is nice. But yeah, its pretty barebones and when I saw it before I didn’t think it was worth $8.
Just hearing the music and sounds alone is worth the $4 to me. It brings back a lot of memories.
Wait…Virtua Racing is $2 on the eshop right now? Bout to go check that out riiiight now…
Edit: oh that’s after using your gold points…missed that point. Still gonna see the price on that regardless.
I really wish Sega had the stones, source code or whatever and moved passed the Genesis era and re-release some of their Saturn, DC and arcade classics.
good god i want giant gram on switch so bad
8bitdo making an arcade stick with modding support for sanwa parts and stuff.

Edit: Didn’t realize they released one back in 2017. This is a new model I guess.
Bad fucking ASS!
If you end up getting it, maybe you me and @purbeast could set up a lobby if that’s possible. GPK plays too if I remember right.
I’ve been bouncing back and forth between Automatic and Manual shifting. Manual definitely gives you finer control but it’ll take some time figuring out which gears to use to approach turns and all that, but I just got a couple of my best lap times using it just now.
I can’t do manual in racing games. I drive a manual car and not being able to feel when to switch gears is just not fun to me. Constantly having to look at the gauges to see where your RPM’s are at just detracts from the fun of it. I know that manual gets you faster speeds though so it’s a bonus if you can use it.
Hell even in my Rush 2049 cabinets I can’t really do manual and that is sitting down with gear shifters, and it even has a clutch lol. I’ve tried a few times and it just adds another layer that isn’t fun to me.
y’know there’s one thing about the Dynasty Warriors-style games I always hate— when there’s too much “babysitting” of territories… like you have some AI characters helping, but even with that… say the enemy takes over and causes too much havoc or whatever in another zone, then the mission is considered a failure. In fairness, I suppose these games would be way too easy if you didn’t have this silly crap going on though… I was about to play Hyrule Warriors again but remembered this might’ve been one reason I stopped playing. The main appeal of these games is quite simple to me— you get to look cool with 1000+ hit combos on entire armies of bad guys, like an unstoppable force on the battlefield. That’s really all there is to it for me; that’s all I’m wanting…it just sours the experience when I’m doing just fine but the game says “oh you failed the mission because the bad guys took over Zone A again.” yeah get the hell out of my face with that…sheeeeitt, not my fault that the AI “help” is dead weight as usual in most games.
thanks to 8bit i am using my tatsunoku stick
I bought it. I’m down to play. Only issue righr now is my son is waking uo when we put him to bed consistently now. The little time I had to myseld at night barely exists now.
Lord have mercy…
How much have you guys spent total on digital games for this system?
I have 26 games, all digital (just bought Rolling Gunner✊🏽).
Looked at my purchase history for shits and giggles…
$287.64 total, actually $247.64 due to $40 being free Amazon cash.
I don’t even wanna talk about it. Lol. I have close to 100 games for my switch. Only about 30 or so are physical.
In my defense: I’ve never paid full price for a single game or dlc for my switch.
I’m not gaming at all any time in the near future online. I actually don’t have the Nintendo online stuff right now but will get it once I have more time. All of my free time to game has been playing Ghost of Tsushima and I plan on playing that when I have free time. I’ve had a couple hours here and there to play but usually only like an hour or so at a time.
