The best character designs in ARMS are the ones with arms instead of ARMS.

the others are whatever. i wouldnt say theyre bad designs though. the only character design i don’t like is the grand prix champion and the first dlc character Max Brass.

Who the fuck cares if Arms characters look goofy, it was always a cartoonish game and it was billed as cartoonish as that allowed Nintendo to get away with a fighting/boxing game that also family friendly.
Look at Spring Man, they guy looks like Jughead from the Archie Comics if Jughead died his hair blue
The game character’s arms aren’t supposed to make sense, its just the game’s own gimmick.
No one complained about realism. At all.
You complained about character design. There’s nothing wrong with it. None of them are stellar but none of them are actually bad. They’re characters that fit quite well in the world created for them

The designs fit the world Nintendo wanted for ARMS, the same company who took FPS games and made it completely child friendly (Splatoon).

My issue with the 3ds has always been that it’s uncomfortable to hold, especially for extended periods of time. I got a 2ds to try to remedy that issue but the d pad is terrible and the screen is way too small for VC games.
But this is the Nintendo Switch thread, not the 3DS thread.
I think the character design is largely atrocious, but the fact that they’re stylized and cartoony isn’t the reason for that. I said nothing about their realism or lack thereof.
People like to lump ARMS characters with the Inklings from Splatoon, but while the Inklings have a very appealing and stylish appearance, anyone with ARMS looks like someone who came out of a science experiment gone wrong.
Obviously you aren’t the target audience and the game ARMS is not for you.
Let people enjoy things (unless its vegan-communism, then they can get rekt).

Super Mario Galaxy 1 is MAGICAL, one of my favorite games, probably top 5.
Definitely deserved a perfect 10 rating (graphics, sound, controls, gameplay, story, replay value).
