I like playing Bowser Jr., Shyguy, Dry Bones or one of my Miis.
*sidenote…this is actually the first Mario Kart I’ve played since the original on SNES…despite having a Gamecube, I never got the one that was on it, and I didn’t get into the other recent one either.
I don’t know if Mario Kart for the SNES is the best Mario Kart but it deserves special recondition for starting both the series of Mario Kart games and a sub genre of Racing games.
And despite all the years, and changes to the series the SNES version still holds up better than some of the later editions unlike the N64 Game.
I think MK8 D is the definitive Mario Kart as far as I’m concerned. I still have the SNES cartridge and I love it, but MK8 blows it out of the water and it’s not even close.
Coins are important. They increase your overall max speed the more you have up to when you have 10. When racing you are gonna have to make decisions if you aren’t at max whether or not to continue driving your line or veer off to pick some of them up. If you are in the ‘Abyss’ (3rd place and below)there is a good chance that you are lacking in the coins to get yourself out…and it doesn’t help that people are firing at everyone in the vicinity back there.
I think there is a tutorial section in MK8D that goes over some of the items but if you have any questions we could probably answer them.
Yeah i think the Wii u was a big let down to people because they really wanted it to be truly mobile. I don’t think games had as much to do with the failure as much as the general clunkiness (and bad marketing) of the system itself
So even if they just port wii u games over, for most people thats actually great bc we didn’t buy the wii u. Imagine if the switch had all of the wii u games. the library would be considered really solid
wind waker hd for switch. make it happen nintendo.
Zelda was worth the purchase for me. That is the most time I’ve put into a single player game probably since like N64 days. Well maybe since Burnout Paradise on 360 since I got 101% on that game.
