Well usually we would have had a general direct by now so I don’t blame him. We got everything else out of the way so now the wait is killing me now.
Man, I should have bought 2016 Switch DOOM sooner. That game has gone up in price. Dude at my Best Buy said they only had Switch DOOM digitally. Does this mans really think I’m gonna download a 20+ gig game on my Switch? Including all the patches the game got, I’m not even up to date on the total size of Switch DOOM. Still looking because I refuse to play Switch DOOM knowing I forked over $60 for it digitally
Doom on Switch is weird, originally the main campaign was on the cart and the multiplayer mode was the download, but they have sent out several patches since the game dropped to improve performance.
Switch Doom to me feels like how I tried to play the game on the lowest settings while still being playable. It’s not perfect but still impressive it runs. I have Doom eternal preorded for switch
well, I procrastinated too long this time with Diablo, surprising to say… I started it up just now only to realize the season already ended; my season Crusader was only level 49. I was intending to at least get a few paragon points out of him (when the season ends, paragon with that character gets added to the pool of paragon exp with your regular characters, since the seasonal one becomes a “regular” character at that point…so it’s a good way of buffing those paragon points.) Checking my profile, I have 175 hours played on D3 for Switch…actually more than Bayonetta 2; I “only” have 80 hours on that… Dead Cells is still the top rank one though for me with 395 hours so far…and in all that time it is only recently I made it into 3 and 4-cell mode.
whoah…checking things out here I forgot I even had Oninaki… I should get back to that one for sure…
All solid. With part of my tax return I picked up some digital stuff .
- Expansion Pass for Three Houses
- Expansion Pass for Fire Emblem Warriors
- Multiplayer expansion pass for Luigi’s Mansion 3
- Pokken Challenger Pack
- Pre-Ordered Murder by Numbers as well as Afterparty
- Ganbare! Super Strikes (Tactical Sports RPG?! sure!)
- 198X
- All of the SteamWorld games were on sale again so I picked those up too.
- Doom 1-3
After my employee discount on the digital eShop cards, existing coins and accumulated coins from purchases I spent less than $140.
Separately I’m getting Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX tomorrow and then Langrisser 1 & 2 on a Tuesday.
Finally trying out the Langrisser I & II demo. You get some pretty spacious movement in the first mission. Though that could be because they want you to get used to things. I really like the Genesis soundtrack and the game lets you choose between it and the modern score, which doesn’t sound too shabby. And you can pick the old art style! Yeah, I never played the old Langrisser games but as a kid that grew up in and 8 and 1616-bit eras, having those retro options means the world to me.
Not sure when I’ll get around to playing the full versions of Langrisser I & II. The game will arrive on Tuesday via Amazon but I still need to play more Three Houses and I made a personal ruld years ago not to have two RPGs played at once.
^ha, perfect timing… my best friend’s son has a birthday coming up, and one thing he wants is Mario Maker 2 (yes, fine taste there )
I had some reward points on my checking account that I converted to credit on the card I have connected to my eShop account. Got basically $75 back so that means I got all those Castlevania games I drunk purchased in January for free and just bought SamSho season 2 dlc. I think I’m gonna use the rest of it and get a physical copy of Bloodstained.
I think it’s probably Nintendo pushing for the sale if multiple retailer’s have the same sale.
Duh?
I’m super stoked. This may actually get me to take my Switch to certain places since Mystery Dungeon games are the definitive “play in short bursts” style of games.
Inside of the game case is hella cute too
Dark Souls Remastered on Switch, or
?
In my opinion, the only reason to get any 3rd party game on the switch that runs better on PlayStation is if you want to play it on the go.
That’s a good part of it. I’m not always home so my PS4 doesn’t get as much use as it used to. I was just wondering if it runs bad or something.
I know it’s impossible, but man, if you could play Bloodborne on switch… That would be the best of all possible worlds for me.
I believe Dark Souls on switch isn’t a bad port just still has some slowdown issues. Here’s the DF for it
If you want it to play mobile then it’s probsbly worth it. And I say that having not played Dark Souls, just what I’ve read, so this probably isn’t very helpful
For me when it comes to to multi-platform titles I’d rather support the healthier system. Especially with indies. PS4 has one foot out the door and it’s big brother is about to move in. While Nintendo has just now entered its 3rd out of rumored 8 year console life. I’d rather support that.
Also from what a lot of Indy developers and 3rd party developers have said is that they make more money from selling on nintendo rather than Sony or M$. I’m not talking about when it comes to volume either, I’m talking money they make per copy they sell. Nintendo doesn’t take as big of a share of profits as Sony and M$.
So I wanna support those dev’s for their hard work with as much money as I can give them.
