BW series has the best story and world building. Hands down. Best gameplay and how streamlined everything is goes to HGSS.

I feel like platinum is the starting point to great postgame. HGSS is still better but acknowledge Plat greatness

HGSS is a hard act to follow as it opens up a whole nother region with 8 more gyms and you battle another champion.
Diamond/Platinum/Pearl has how most games should do post game.
I fucking hated White and Black and it was the gen that made me almost quit pokemom.
Gen V starters sucked, but I got Hydreigon and Bisharp out of it. Good trade off lol.
I still haven’t decided on my other games yet that I’m picking up before Christmas. The missus said we’re gonna do some of our Christmas shopping on Wednesday. I still want to get Mario Maker 2, Link’s Awakening and either Sw/Sh before then, but I dunno.

Diablo 3 new season has started so I made my Crusader and did the challenge rift…this week’s challenge rift is incredibly easy; practically a give-away.

Contemplating if I wanna trade some games in. XBC2 still worth $25 on amazon. FE3H is $31. After beating them I don’t even touch them anymore… but idk, maybe just hold on to them as a collection.
They are still adding content to Fire Emblem. It looks to be following the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 model. I hope what ever expansion they add is on the level of Torna. That wasn’t an expansion it was self contained prequel.

Thinking of buying 2 switches for 2 friend’s bdays what are the best black friday/cyber monday deals around? Also can someone recommend me a high quality carrying case for my switch?
I’m guessing this will be coming state side too. I’d like to think so at least. If it is we will likely find out in January when nintendo will presumably have its next direct.

The downside: Only DMC is on the game card. DMC2 and DMC3 Special are on a voucher.
The only black Friday deal for the switch is the bundle that comes with Mario kart 8 deluxe. Though gamestop is offering a $25 gift card with the purchase of any switch.

Not too many deals right now but most are just adding a single older game or some accessories while charging the base retail price.
The standard one you see is Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
Afaik, the one with mario kart is the old version with less battery life. I believe walmart has buy a switch(new version with more battery life) and get free spyro collection($35).
