Infinite was AWESOME, Best technical fighter in a long time.
I still have yet to create a level or even consider it. I just don’t have any ideas right now at all. I’ve never even opened creator mode.
How long do levels take to make generally sppeaking? or does it vary greatly? Time is another reason I’m not sure if I’ll ever make anything worthwhile, if anything at all.
Nintendo’s new policy on Joy-Con drifting: “if they tell you it’s drifting. Offer to send in for repairs. Free of charge, no proof of purchase required and regardless of warranty”
It depends on how much you put into it, honestly. It takes me about a week to finish a level if I pick at it, but if I go in hard and know what I want to put in it, it can take just a few hours. It seems like I was faster with MM1.
This level I’m working on now I’m kinda making it up as I go along, and I’m still getting used to all the new toys to play with, so it’s taking a lot longer. I also find myself testing and deleting and reworking parts, changing difficulty and stuff. It can be tough, but I find it really fun and rewarding with positive feedback.
You should give it a shot, man. Once you get going on an idea (even if you don’t really know what it is until you after you start building) it’s a blast!
One piece of advice I’ll give is to limit yourself to just a few elements. Don’t go all crazy and add a bunch of stuff for the sake of filling your level up with random shit. Take a look at my two levels- they both have a theme that works pretty much throughout each one.
Finally got Strange, but Magneto is locked in a high level Infinity challenge.
Summary
Made it to Attlain, which means I’m going to deal with Maximus and other Inhuman villains.
Man, this game is going all over the Marvel universe.
Considering Marvel owns all those assets and not Capcom I’m not surprised.
I know it is probably due to the cartoony style but aside from Lucky every character on that cover looks like they could be a reskin of a rabbid with their facial expressions.
I can already hear my grandson asking for this game …
I posted this in general gaming topic. Posting it here as well. Apparently Fire Emblems story has leaked. Be careful of spoilers everyone.
Thanks for pointing this out.
Honestly from the treehouse demo (which can be found in the first post of this thread) it doesn’t look too bad. Apparently the Xbone version was poorly received but the dev team that made Lucky Tales has been saying Nintendo has been helping add a lot of polish to the game as well as help buff out rough spots. Camera angle is another big factor they’re going to be fixing, apparently.
Yeah. It’s been leaked for almost a week on r/fireemblem
Lucky’s cover artwork is pretty neat but the game didn’t blow me away on Xbox. It was serviceable certainly, but its saving grace has always been that it launched on a system with barely any competition. Releasing this to a public that has been playing Mario and Donkey Kong Games for decades could backfire quite a bit because it’s a far cry from the quality of a standard Nintendo platformer. So I’d recommend having reasonably expectations about this.
That said if they did address some issues I’ll be watching the feedback closely.
I’ll probably have to hold off on getting Three Houses until next week. I cancelled a lot of my preorders I had on amazon and re-preordered them on Walmart because it’s a lot cheaper I just have to wait a few days on some of them. Which is fine.
The downside of doing this though is Walmart does an authorization charge on preorders. The authorization charge is “released” within 5 days. But it was a little over $120 in items along with the fact all my major bills come out at the end of the month. So it’s going to be a little tight until that authorization charge is released back into my account.
ha, I don’t know if that glitch in Marvel UA 3 is fixed yet but I’m enjoying it…still playing my 4x Spiderman team…one Infinity trial has you fighting 200 enemies, with Nebula showing up as a boss…it’s funny how quickly the 4 Spidermen absolutely demolish all these people. Nebula shows up only to get instantly destroyed by the 4x ULTIMATE Hypercombo Finish. It is glorious. Ridiculous damage.
…which reminds me—this is a great bonus of a system and game that don’t NEED to be online (something that goes away if cloud-based streaming nonsense becomes the sad future of this industry)…even when/if they do a patch to fix certain abusable things…you don’t have to update for the longest time I never updated my Dragon’s Crown on PS Vita, because of a glitch that made the Dwarf a nearly unkillable god tank.
I know you are a Walmart employee, I still don’t understand how you can put up with that authorization charge and the other BS Walmart does.
The Price difference isn’t worth the inconvenience.
It is worth it for me though. Walmart has been selling all their newly released games for $10 off MSRP + my Employee discount (an extra 15% off) + still getting release day shipping/release day pick-up in-store on most things. It’s actually better and often times more convenient than the old Amazon Prime preorder discount.
As for the Authorization holding. It isn’t even that big of a deal. It’s just a very minor inconvenience for a few days. Plus, seeing how I still haven’t actually started UMA3 it’s probably for the best I don’t get Three Houses right away.
I go where the best deal is and what’s more convenient for me. That’s all there is to it. I don’t have any brand/store loyalty. Amazon is no longer convenient. The other big video game retailers like target, Best Buy and GameStop’s vary in distance from my house. They’re any where from 30-50 minute drives from my house. Plus none of them offer sales worth driving that distance for or ordering what I want from their dotcom stores. Where Walmart/work is literally a few blocks away. I’m obviously going to go to Walmart.
To put it in perspective I got MUA3 + a $20 eShop card for barely over $60. I think $62 and some change. Where it would have been $85+ pretty much anywhere else. If I had went anywhere else I would be going out of my way on a day I have free to go to that store OR having to wait all day to get it delivered at who knows what time.
Where as with Walmart I can grab it before I clock in or on lunch. Or I can order it through their dotcom store app on break/lunch and pick it up after work.
I tried that mess once, they want me to pick up shot from a store thats way off, when there two other closer stores to me. Plus if I am waiting a week on shipping, I want that shit at my house and not store pickup.
I doubt this.
The app and dotcom store always picks the store that’s closest to you based on your GPS/WiFi/ location or simply your “preferred store” in your account for in-store pick ups. As does any brick and mortar that has in-store pick up options. Hell, even Amazon locker finds the closest “locker” location based on the same criteria.
If the item isn’t in your store than they ship it to the store you want within 2 days. Sometimes they even discount the items when you choose in-store pick up.
Also free 2-day shipping for any orders over $35. Whether it’s to home or store. Unless you order in a Friday or weekend, obviously. Sometimes they will offer same day/next day delivery depending on area.
The only time the shipping takes longer than 2 days is if it’s ordered on a Friday or weekend like I mentioned or if it’s from a 3rd party seller that works with Walmart.
I’ve had the same problem as Darksakul. I literally live 5 mins away from my local walmart and the app always defaults me to one almost an hour away. I always have to manually select my store every time.
Whenever you make an account with Walmart (or any big box retailer these days) they always ask for your zip code so they can find the closest store to you. So that can be your “home store”. Target does it, Best Buy does it, GameStop does it. Fuck even Fandango does it so you can find your “home” theater”
If for whatever reason it DOES do that, it’s likely because that item is likely out of stock at the store closest to you/your home store. GameStop does something similar if your home store doesn’t have the item you want they’ll recommend another store.
