Someone has posted a review of the new SN30 Pro + controller.
D-Pad seems to have been improved. Still lighter than most first party controllers.
I’ve already pre-ordered mine. They should make a M30 like this, it’d be the greatest pad ever.

My Nintendo is letting you redeem your absolutely fucking useless platinum coins to get a DLC code for exclusive splatoon 2 gear. The gear set was apparently a Japan exclusive from a launch day promotion Nintendo of Japan did with 7/11’s all over the country. How kind of them to finally release outside of Japan over 2 years after the fact. Bless our Nintendo overlords.
Why they got rid of the Nintendo’s reward program I’ll never fucking understand. Anyways.
Since Nintendo’s dumb ass site won’t embed I cropped the link so it isn’t so ugly to look at.
(PS: sorry if I’m coming off as overly aggressive or negative. Just been a rough night.)
sheeeeiiiiitttt, I must have this whenever it’s out
I’ll get it when it’s cheap. It’s launch price is a bit high for a redone SNES game.
Same, besides financially I NEED to step back, way too many games and half of which I haven’t put more then a hour or so in.
Whelp. Looks like I’m waiting for the inevitable Squeenix sale. Oninaki is up for prepurchase on the eShop…for $44.99usd (discounted from $49.99usd. How thoughtful of them). While I figured that was going to be the price since Lost Sphere and Setsuna were priced the same deep down I was hoping it wouldn’t be.
There is a demo available though so I can try it out to see if it’s even worth buying. I hope it is worth it. If it is I’m still going to wait for a sale though. No digital title is worth $50 to me.
Edit: just now getting around to playing MUA3. Super cool of them to mention all the patch notes and give you specifics on what your expansion pass is unlocking (as the content becomes available). I really wish more games did shit like that.
Remember my squad list: The Nintendo Switch Thread! - Deadly Premonition 2: Blessing in Disguise 7/10 - Paper Mario: The Origami King 7/17 - #5274 by CDB2
Banner is now a stable part of the group!!
Hulk is damn good in this!! Thunderclap wipes mobs and melts stun meters.
Plus give him a large purple ISO-8 and…SHIEEEEEET!!
As is Wolverine!!
As expected is still has his “ol’ reliable” status from previous games of this series.
One thing I’ve found funny/interesting about MUA3 is that Venom straight up eats Electro and NOBODY addresses this in the game. Oh you wanna be on the team after just eating that dude? Sure! No problem! We are all perfectly ok with this! lol
FYI, I’ll be on site at Quakecon on Saturday. Rumor is they may have switch demo units for Wolfenstein Youngblood and possibly Doom Eternal (the PC demo is part of a invite-only party on Friday). If you want questions answered, holler at ya boi.
Please dish out as many new photos and information about Doom Eternal as you can?
I’m hoping that the Switch version of Doom Eternal isn’t locked into that invite-only party as well, as Quakecon is a majorly PC-centric con. I’ll find out.
I started playing Hawkeye and everything he has is straight ripped from MvC3. Even he has the same death cry when he dies.
Not surprising, seeing from reports that the budget for the game was just barely more than MvC:I
Which says something as MAHVEL: UA3 blows Infinite right out the water.
to be fair, Infinite was trash. MUA3 had to do little to blow it out of the water.
How much Infinite did you play?
Jesus mofo’s who can make this crap are unreal. I wonder how long it takes to make something like that, and how much testing goes on. It’s gotta be a super slow process.
Not necessarily. A lot of crazy levels came out with in a day or two. And everyone gets ideas and inspiration from other creators, so the acceleration of ideas is really high.
It’s still pretty incredible, and impressive.
One thing I like to do when I make levels is to make sure there’s a way to speedrun them. I’ll place enemies, items, and obstacles exactly where they need to be, which is a concept borrowed heavily from the DKC:TF levels during Time Attack. Those are some of the most well-made platforming levels in my opinion, because you have the option to take your time and explore for secrets, but they’re also set up to speed run. Launching off of enemies and maintaining momentum is what I like best about games like that.
I want to experiment a bit more with slopes. In my Bomb Canyon Capers level you can speedrun the first area with the slopes. If you land on an upslope with momentum, you can kill enemies on it and continue forward, i fucking love that shit.
about two weeks worth of play, both offline and online.
