I knew of Langrisser but never played it because at the time I really didn’t like SRPG’s. I sorta like them now but I’m really picky about them.
The only thing I know about Langrisser ist that Urushihara made the character designs. If you don’t know him it’s worth a google search but try not to do it at work.
Maybe now I’l actually be able to learn something about the game, too.
I was set to walk out with a Switch today, but the sales guy at Fry’s majorly screwed up attempting to get the system out of the cage.
Profound Sadness.
Thought you were going to go the layaway route with Walmart?
We’re in town for a baseball game, and I have a line of credit I can use at Fry’s Electronics …
Next week, it’ll get copped though because I’ll be in said town working on Thursday and I’ll have two hours to kill.
Oooooh.
Bloodstained patch coming out the 15th according to their kickstarter page.
Trying to figure out if I want to do physical media with my upcoming Switch purchase or keep my long-standing tradition of all-digital except when a game comes with the console.
Why EU get all the good shit? THIS IS YOUR TIME TO SHINE, BOWSER
sheeeeit, physical games will always be the preferred way for me, as long as it continues to exist. I recently finished putting together a tv stand, and one shelf section of it is already devoted to my Switch games; I’m already enjoying just how that looks…they’re all neatly organized right there. (walmart cheap prices prevail once again, folks—my tv stand/table was only 53 bucks…as opposed to the few hundred one might spend at a regular furniture shop… hopefully I can find a bigger version of the same thing for my big tv… ohhh and this is why I love Walmart unlike a lot of people…heh, I should’ve chimed in for my unwarranted 2 cents earlier—regardless of it being kinda shitty in other ways; it’s hard to beat them on price. Various food items being a dollar or more cheaper there to just about any other place…you can’t ignore those savings if you’re a cheapskate bastard like me. Beet juice is a major example I noticed recently; Kroger is my 2nd choice for cheap groceries…but at Kroger the beet juice I like is 6.99 a bottle. Walmart has that exact same product, exact same brand…for 4.99, man…2 bucks saved each time I choose to buy it there…this is on top of the store being closer to me anyway.)
ha, I have way more games that I will ever have time for…quite the awesome “problem” to have though. Unlike most I didn’t take tomorrow off…the upside is that there will hardly be anyone in the office then…
ohhhh I should get back to Hyrule Legends as well… of all my games that one burns up the Switch battery charge the fastest, from what I’ve seen.
Woke up this morning, and the wife and I talked about Fry’s yesterday for about half an hour. She’s legit worried that I’d put our finances in the toilet over this, and asked me to back off on getting it for the time being. I have agreed, only because of the finance problem.
Being in credit card debt and financial problems is the American way bro. Do your part.
@StuartHayden ReggieHadouken covered the best traditional aca shmups, I just wanted to toss out Shock Troopers 1&2. These are more run & gunner then traditional shmup but srill a ton of fun especially with a second player.
I am also going to recommend an Indy shmup that just hit the Switch called Rolling Gunner. Its not an ACA game but for 20 bucks it’s an AMAZING shmup with wonderful visual style and polish and is a ton of fun to play. Best Indy Shmup I’ve played since Crimson Clover. Hoping CC comes to Switch down the road.
That’s payback for getting crappy ports of almost everything that came out pre-2005.
Yeah, whenever I get a switch you can bet your ass I’m buying that. I love the PS4 controller
The Pro controller is a bajillion times better than the DS4. I’d argue the Pro Controller is the best controller in the history of video games. The thing just fits like a damn glove and it’s super responsive.
DS4 is the worst controller this gen IMO.
