When i was a young adult the PS2 was still the hottest shit. I bought memory cards for my brothers and put their names on em. They could do whatever they wanted with them, but they where not allowed to touch my cards.
I only have an older sister. She was never into gaming that much. When we did play video games together it was usually beat em up’s or puzzle games.
She was super into cars in Jr. High and High School though so the Gran Turismo games were her fucking jam.
However She does own a switch now. Though we haven’t in a while we played MK8D a lot when she first got it. The reason we haven’t played in a while is she’s been busy with my nephew (turns out new borns are time consuming) and they just done moving half way across the country.
I have an older brother and he would sometimes override my saves. I lost my save data for every PS2 GTA because of his carelessness. He deleted one my Shadow Hearts saves to make room for a Need For Speed save.
Played like the first 9-10 levels in story mode on SMM2. I like the just complete randomness of the levels so far, and so far they have some clever levels. I probably won’t dabble online for a while. I don’t know if I will really make any levels either just for time reasons. I think it would take a while to make some good levels.
I also got Ori last night that I started and it’s fantastic, and found out today that Moss got some free DLC earlier this week so I am going to have to check both of those out.
At work now but I did snag my copy of Super Mario Maker 2. No preorder bonuses but I’m just happy to have the game. I won’t really be able to sink my teeth into it until Monday and Tuesday, my off days. That won’t stop my brain from pumping out ideas. I’m gonna have to carry my grap paper on me at all times.
I got my copy on lunchbreak today…still haven’t started yet since I was in the middle of an especially good Dead Cells run. Most of this will be a cool surprise for me, as I stopped checking the various preview vids of it quite a while ago.
I’ve said it countless times before…there’s just too many good games. The current game “card” in my system is Dragon’s Dogma; I just started on that a few days ago…then at some point I must get back to the current season of Diablo 3…and I barely scratched the surface of Galak-Z… still haven’t even started Starlink which I got back at Christmas…the backlog is getting pretty damn insane at this point.
ohhhh and I went on to beat Katana Zero though… surprisingly that boss I was fighting turned out to be the last major thing…though now I’m hearing there’s an alternate final boss situation that occurs depending on your dialog choices.
hahaha that game with the yellow robot is on sale again…it’s ALWAYS on sale for some ridiculously huge discount (and it’s a bigger discount each time)… I may actually get it this time…this time it’s 97% off so it’s only 19 cents…which is easily covered by my gold coin/points right now anyway…
Has anyone played Into the Breach? It’s 50% off which is super nice. But I’m really picky when it comes to SRPG’s. I mean it seems right up my alley since basically seems like Pacific Rim the game. Just wanted a few opinions on it.
Actually it’s the arcade game. I never saw it in the arcades. I would see it at Blockbuster as a kid and wonder why anyone would even bother with it, haha.
Glad I didn’t play it until now. Otherwise I would’ve skipped it most likely.
Nintendo announced on twitter that to celebrate Splatoon 2’s Final splatfest they are going to be releasing Team Order and Team Chaos T-Shirts on their website.
Edit: Apparently anyone who buys the shirts and has a Nintendo account (didn’t specify if had to be an NSO account or not) will receive an email containing a code for exclusive gear.
Man. I love the fact my employee discount works on eshop currency. Lol.
I got West of Loathing for a little under 9 (normally 11) and I got a $35 eshop card for under 30.
Picked up PatoBox, Desert Child and Into the Breach with it. Including coins and left over credit I have about $15. Any suggestions? Looking for mainly RPGs, platformers or something Zelda-esque.
I was thinking Citizens of Space but I’ve been hearing it’s really buggy.
