I’m well aware about Walmart’s layaway policy. In any case, the missus agreed to think it over; which is definite progress.

Thought Virtua Racing was releasing today but it is TOMORROW.

Picked up Splatoon 2 recently. Really liking it so far and loving the duelies and the dashes it gives you. Wished I joined in on this sooner. I’ll be there day one for Splatoon 3.

Been playing Volgar the Viking, going through the levels trying to do no-hit runs. I’ve got the first world down so far, just trying to see which one I want to do next. Something about this game is just so therapeutic

Make sure you join in for the last splatfest in July

400GB MicroSD card is one of amazons deals of the day.

Edit: it’s really fucking annoying and weird that certain amazon links embed but some don’t

Will do. I bought the NSO bundle for Mario Maker 2 so I’ll be able to play online again. I’m on the third world currently.

Just picked up Pintstripe since I’ve been wanting to play it since I saw the Alpha of it on GameGrumps before the games Kickstarter launched. I didn’t kick it because it was for PC only at the time. I’ve been meaning to buy it on the Switch but other games have had priority or I just didn’t have the excess funds.

It being onsale for like $6 was also a pretty good convincer

I’ve been waiting FOREVER for SEGA AGES Virtua Racing to drop on the eShop. SEGA just sitting there with their thumbs up their butts and decides late June is a good release when Japan has had that sucker for over two months. My excitement for the release is kinda overshadowed by the fact that this little game called Super Mario Maker 2 drops on the 28th.

Just had enough for Virtua Racing and it just finished downloading.

I’ll grab Wonder Boy: Monster Land on the next round of purchases in a few months. Been looking forward to that as well.

Not sure if myself and @Radiantsilvergun3 are the only SHMUP guys on the forums but Q-YO Blaster dropped on the Switch today. If you have bought certain Forever Entertainment games, you get 50% off. The game has a really cool pixel art style with sweet animations and different ship/weapon set ups.

NIS just posted a blog about all the changes, fixes and new content coming to Disgaea 4 Complete+. Also it’s release date is 10/29

Nice, looks interesting - will check it out.

Here are a couple that I have been keeping an eye on - I don’t recall seeing them shared here (but maybe I missed them).

I’m a sucker for weird shit (and that soundtrack lineup).

The developer for this posts his updates through a group on Facebook if any of you are on there and interested in following its development: https://www.facebook.com/groups/mariomalagrino.out.of/
Right now, it’s only coming to PC and Xbox (he said Switch and PS4 possible, but not planned right now), so a little off-topic but still thought I’d share.

$12 for Gris digital versus $35 min for physical is a tough pill to swallow. The game is definitely worth more than $12 though.

It’s actually $17. But I get what you mean.

35 for physical is a small price to pay for art imo.

Throwing this out there, they’re offering free gear for Splatoon 2 right now as a celebration of the last splatfest. You have to find the news from the Splatoon channel and open up the game from it.

Edit: Also Pearl and Marina had a reeeeeally long conversation when I started the game up right now to get the gear. They seem to be hinting that Inkopolis might be changed depending on who wins this last splatfest.

Virtua Racing is pretty awesome. I’m glad I skipped this when I was younger, because older me can appreciate it, it’s new for me, and it plays super smooth. They had the racer down pat on the first try in 3D. Game looks gorgeous and cool. There’s a certain look this game has that let’s it really stick out in motion.

The track design is no joke. Pretty challenging for me so far on Normal. I’ve beaten Beginner course, currently on the mid one. I can almost finish a race but a few turns have me anxious a little. A near perfect run is almost needed imo, but it doesn’t seem tedious or really challenging to pull off.

The credits screen is very cool seeing who the people were and what they would go on to do after this game.

I should download the Splatoon and Samurai Shodown DLC. Thanks for the heads up on those.

Never trust five year olds with your save.

Grant it was just choosing the chaos side for Splat fest when I wanted order but I am salty since this means I either support the side I don’t want to see effect the next game or I don’t participate.
