Just from the trailers and little gameplay I’ve seen of it the gameplay is an amazing mix of exploration based platforming and puzzle platforming.
All the movements seem very precise and fluid too. It’s on my wishlist. Just haven’t had the money to get it or other games have had priority.

I’m thinking of scooping that and Gunman Clive. Its between Crypt of the Necrodancer and Cato Roboto. Gunman Clive is a lock. Thinking Crypt cuz it’s on sale but I did just buy Cadence of Hyrule so I’m still debating.
The gunman Clive games are some of my favorite 3DS digital titles. I was stoked when they announced the switch ports.
All I need now is Harmoknight.

Rhythm based adventure game. Made by Hal Laboratory.
Edit: fuck…harmoknight is really 6 years old? Definitely doesn’t feel it.
Oh. If they brought the other shantae’s Over to the switch (including the GBC one) that’d be ace too.
GBC Shantae needs to be on Switch just cuz the game cart is fucking stupid expensive.

How do you like Cadence of Hyrule? I’ve never played a cadence game, but I love Zelda.
I’ve only played about an hour in the car where it was hard to hear (went to Pheonix for father’s day) so I don’t have the best impression yet, but so far it seems really fun. The gameplay is incredibly simple but at the same time exacuting a plan is pretty tough. Easy entry, difficult mastery seems to be the order of the day here.
The graphics are great. Extremely charming. The devs did a wonderful job of making it look, feel, and sound like Zelda while still retaining a unique feel and aesthetic you won’t confuse for other games, even other Zelda games.
Speaking of sound what I’ve heard of the ost has been sublime. Great fun to listen to with a high energy that’s fun to “dance” to. This a rhythm game I can really get into.
Basically Cadence of Hyrule has been good enough that I now want Crypt of the Necrodancer, a game I’ve never wanted before.

I also like the fact you can turn of the rhythm aspect so you just have a really good rouge-like. A lot of people apparently consider it “easy mode” but idgaf. I think that’s a nice feature for someone who wants a traditional rogue-like (me)
Yeah Gunman Clive is a cool ass game. I think I got the HD collection on Switch for like $3 or something lol.

This i didnt know. Thats kind of cool but i gotta say it sound like it would remove a lot of what makes the game what it is. Dont think it would be half as interesting otherwise. Even the enemies movements and attacks are tied to the beat of the music, it’s not just you the player.

Man, that sounds pretty cool. I’m gonna have to look into getting that game.

I regret not buying it at gamestop years ago for 5 bucks

Oh, I definitely agree that it should be played the way it’s intended to be played. It’s a very cool and unique way to approach a rogue like. I just like knowing the option is there.
$25 for a digital title is just a little to rich for my blood right now. Though it’s been getting unreal praise and obviously deserves that price point…I just can’t justify it right now.
The joys of being broke. Lol
Yea i still remember seeing it at Wal-Mart as a kid so many years ago. I wish i got it. I wish i still had my copy of GBC Metal Gear Solid as well, that gams cart is expensive now to.
Yea the option is awesome. I could see myself using it when I’m in a more casual mood.

I really wish all the ACA NeoGeo fighters they’ve released on the Switch had netplay. Cause they have some fucking gems on there.
Garou
SamSho V Special
SamSho II
KoF 98
KoF 2k2
Karnov’s revenge
World Heroes Perfect
World Heroes 2 Jet
Waku Waku 7
Last Blade 2
They’re also releasing a lot of budget arcade sticks for the switch. Can’t say anything about the quality of them yet but the artwork is nice.
Alternatively there are “Pro” Models as well.
And of course something to tickle that nostalgia bone.
I already have a Hori RAP for Switch. The last none though…damn that’s tempting.

Switch system update dropped. No idea what it fixed or added or whatever. But yeah.

I like how it’s trying to use the old school artwork… but the fact that the buttons are labeled the right 6 is a turn off.
