I’m sorry Stu but this post told me almost nothing…
Badly thought out and poorly implemented mechanics.
The closest things I have been able to piece together from hearing various folk more in the know when it comes to Pokemon is that MegaEvolutions could only be done with a item equipped. Pokemon can only have one item and the current meta has certain items that are needed for some pokemon and some special moves to be viable on a competitive level. Having a mega evolution makes certain pokemon stronger and at times changes type alignment but very few of them were made ‘better’ and those that were became broken.
Also there is said to be a issue with some forms being given more care and polish while others being just meh. Couple that with the possibility of having to do one potentially for every pokemon new and old is rumored to have lead to GameFreak trying to replace it with the stuff we have seen like Z moves and now Kaiju stuff.
This is the game that turns pokemon into an mmo. Introducing open world multiplayer and raid mechanics.
Legendaries are weak af. Dog holding a sword in mouth and best of all shield-face-doggo. Lemme just blocks all the attacks coming my way, using my face…
Honorable mention to Mega Beedrill, which turned one of the blandest Gen 1 designs and one of many useless insect types into a force to be reckoned with (and with a pretty cool design).
The slow drip of releases is why I couldn’t get into Virtual Console. When it comes to these old games they should just put everything they legally can out there.
Per Digital Foundry the Switch version of Virtua Racing is the best home port yet. I hope we get a Daytona USA port of similar quality. I’m sure licensing is a roadblock for that though.
Give me a date.
Final Splatfest happens next weekend. Team Order vs. Team Chaos. They also mention in the comments you’ll get special edition gear for participating.
Team Order, confirmation that both Marie and Marina are on the same side, how else could I proceed.
ARMS is also doing one last event.
So I recently got Smash Ultimate…what’s the quickest way to unlock all the characters?
I have until Saturday to accomplish this.
Personally I just went through classic mode with the chars. You usually are guanranteed an unlock each playthrough as long as you use a new char.
Classic Mode is the fastest
Thanks gents…I will try it out.
Hmmm first time experiencing a “software closed due to an error” today while playing Vesperia. Good thing I didn’t get too far from my save point.
Is this something I should be worried about or just in once in a long while thing?
What do you guys think Nintendo will have to show for this year’s E3? I imagine we’ll see something for the new Animal Crossing (pleasepleasePLEASEplease) and we’ll learn more about the next DLC Smash Ultimate character. Regardless of what they show, one of the game’s I’m most hyped for is Super Mario Maker 2 and since that sucker drops at the end of this month, I am VERY hyped man. (Probably not as hyped as chadoken, tho.)
I had that happen once in over a hundred hours of play. MK11 is the worst about that. It has happened to me about a half dozen times on Switch. It has happened twice on PS4 but I’ve put a lot more time into that version of the game.
