Also you can get the Nintendo switch edition that comes with the arwing and fox figure for like $27 on amazon.
Edit: it’s unfortunately gone up since last time I looked
I got mine at work for under $25 I think? We were clearancing all the starlink shit out of electronics pretty much 2 months after the game came out so I snagged it.
Posted earlier in the VGG thread, but Monster Boy is beaten. I’m going back to it to find the rest of the music sheets and to get one more ruby to have all gear maxed out but letting it simmer. Definitely one of my favorite games and absolutely enjoyed the game, even in the more frustrating parts. Missing the answer in that is in front of my face, is my achilles heel, but I still enjoyed it and can’t wait to go back to it with a better score, waaaaaaaaaaaay less deaths, and…solving the cork puzzle.
Thinking about youtubing the Cork for shits and giggles to see what the hub bub is about.
Wasn’t going to start Hollow Knight but ended up doing it anyways. Opposite end of Monster Boy in terms of presentation and game design so far, but enjoying more than I did when I first started up the game back when it was <$10 haha.
Trust me you aren’t figuring out the cork yourself.
Hollow Knight is fantastic too. I haven’t beaten it yet. I think the presentation and environment is incredible in the game. That game has some of the best sound I’ve ever heard on a game like that and it’s an indie game. Both the music and sound effects are great.
Ugh…another one I want badly. Really enjoyed the demo and trying to finish the stages without as many boxes is awesome. Thought about going three games after finishing MM11, which would be Cuphead, Alex Kidd, and Box Boy + Box Girl but really trying to clear up the backlog before summer. Doesn’t help that it’s < $10 after gold coin usage.
This is pretty cool. Nintendo/Mario tribute to all the modern era’s of Japan (Showa, Heisei And now Reiwa). Also shows off a lot of new SMM2 mechanics and features so obligatory @chadouken tag.
Also some better pictures of some of the new additions to SMM2 that were on a Japanese ad for the game.
Should someone just go ahead and necro the Super Mario Maker thread?
So SMM2 site went down early yesterday. Rumors circulating is that they’re updating the site to tell everyone what’s all going to be involved liked amiibo support, if there will be deluxe/collectors editions, multiplayer, if you’ll need NSO…etc.
Honestly, it is the only reason I bought it. I like FFX, but I couldn’t give two shits about X-2. I love the game play but everything else is just ass.
What bugs me about X-2 is the main character went from Devout Priestess to Thot .
Yeah her BS religion got exposed (shes the one that exposed it) as BS to control the people like sheep and to feed a Cthulhu like monster souls to keep up the narration. But you think someone like Yuna switch over to being a political figure, or someone who is a philanthropist, activist, she likes being out there with people and working in the field so I can see shes a activist/ social worker of some sort not some Pop singer thot that runs around with mercenaries doing treasure hunting.
Also the International edition’s retcon at the end of FFX is bull shit, I rather Tidus end up as nothing, as he was just a dream created by the fayths, than the shit FFX-2 tries to make him out to be.
I actually was happy to see Tidus get the ending he deserved in FFX, he becomes nothing. He isn’t dead, there no soul or spirit, he just an illusion gone for good.
Yeah FFX-2 Yuna was disservice to her character. As far as Tidus goes, I always stuck up for him as a protagonist because he knows saving Spira will cost him his existence but saves it anyway. Wasn’t a fan of the Shuyin nonsense either.
