Yo wtf… my joycons keep disconnecting randomly when playing smash. It’s like every 5-10 minutes. It’s only happened once with mario odyssey, and never with xc2.
That what Spencer said in a public Tweet, but the reality is there some bad blood between Nintendo and Rare as MS got what uses to be Nintendo exclusives.
I also dont see Nintendo wanting to play ball.
Most of the non-nintendo characters are from companies that has a good or working relationship with big N
Nintendo and MS have cross platform cross play. Unlike Sony, Nintendo and MS don’t seem to have issues working together.

Just went to another BB to grab Monster Boy and went to the front and was like ‘I am looking to pick up a Switch game’ and dude is like ‘Smash Bros?’ and he was already grabbing it when I was like ‘no it’s something else’ lol. He was caught off guard. He said that they had already sold so many of them and he showed me how many they still had left. They had to have hundreds left.
Good for them. I prefer to be on the right side of history.
Grinding out character unlocks in Smash I can enjoy the game. I don’t know how anyone finds this fun.
Were’t there complaints for Smash 3DS/Wii U since most of the cast was there from the get go? That could be why most of them are have to be unlocked. I don’t mind it too much. Though, with a cast of 70+, yeah, I can see how people could find unlocking them all annoying. At least the conditions for unlocking characters is streamlined. I’m experimenting with other characters since all my Smash 4 mains aren’t unlocked yet. I LOVE King K. Rool and Link feels very different in this game. Since he no longer has the Hook Shot, that’s one less ledge option he has.
Who the hell complained about that? That was awesome! Didn’t have to waste time just jumping into the game.

Something people liked about Melee and Brawl was having their games interrupted by new challengers. I have to admit that is pretty cool. For instance, I just played a bit of World of Light and exited out of that mode, only for Isabelle to show up to catch some of Mario’s hands. Now my dog waifu is unlocked!

Can you not use custom controls in World of Light? I trying to switch to my custom controls and can’t find the option.
yeah I am one of the apparent few that actually likes unlocking things in a game… the way I see it… one would eventually get bored of playing a game FASTER if everything is there already…there’s no sense of progression if it’s just all there…kinda like if an rpg just started you off with every legendary weapon already in your inventory, with a fully leveled character from day 1.
It’s been so long since I played a Smash Bros. game… it’s basically like I’m playing this for the first time here, learning the controls and timing all over again. Seriously, I haven’t played it since Melee WAY back when that game was new…and—quick internet search—damn Melee is 17 years old now, folks.
This is rough now…because my Diablo 3 addiction was going strong, and now I have this game… there is not enough time in life for all this greatness.

You have to do it on the World Map, Use X or Plus to get into the Menu, then go to Options.
You should also name your controller profile.
That does nothing. I can’t switch to the profile with the controls while playing World of Light. I said fuck it and change the default controls to get around it.
Edit: the profile switch was one the fighter select. I feel dumb now.
Lol, I was Mario and the first character unlock for me was Sonic.
